The best dentist ever
Lauren is the best dentist I've had in 40 years of experience. How wonderful it is that the HIGHEST quality level of practitioner is available to patients now. I had a health check and gum assessment earlier in the year followed by replacement of an old filling. Firstly the fact that I had the same dentist for all three appointments was reassuring. Secondly, and most remarkably I was stunned by the highest level of professionalism and skill, utilising the most advanced techniques, with calmness, grace and care. Thanks again.

This was really great service as i had previous problems had…
This was really great service as i had two failed attempts at having my lower implants done, as this was my second implants,and had no problems the first time round.
This the third attempt to have these done,after problems on my two earlier attempts (which I don't need to go into) Rik was very helpful with research,and followup calls were regularly made too.
I was apprehensive when I first got there,I reassured and felt calm when I finally had it done.Rik regularly checked I was doing ok all the way through.
There was such a excellent level of care.

Be wary...
Rotten experience . my lip was sliced, which was nowhere near the dental site!...they were so apologetically nonchalant!. Offered me my yearly fee back provided I didn't take it further!
I was just one week away from my holiday so there was no chance of it healing up in that time. As I type, a year later it's infected AGAIN! and has never been right, I keep getting pus filled ulcers inside the area. Pre-Covid they were excellent, now they are just grabbers. Don't part with a penny and go elsewhere.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that you have continued concerns and that your experiences with us left you feeling upset. We take all patient concerns very seriously, and we understand how distressing it can be when treatment doesn’t feel as expected.
That being said, we would like to gently clarify a few points for anyone reading. The minor lip graze you refer to was immediately acknowledged and treated with care at the time, and follow-up support was offered. While such incidents are rare, they can occasionally happen in dental treatment despite every precaution, and they usually heal very quickly without any long-term issues. For difficulties arising many months later, it is extremely unlikely they are directly related to this one-off event, though we are always happy to assess and advise further.
We want to reassure our patients and community that our team in Gravesend and Dartford remains committed to the highest standards of care. Our dentists, nurses, hygienists, receptionists, and treatment coordinators are all highly trained and work together to provide safe, expert and compassionate treatment.
We would still encourage you to reach out directly if you wish us to review your situation in more detail, but we are confident that the vast majority of our patients continue to receive the excellent service and results reflected in our many positive reviews.

I had my first consultation with Dr Rik in Jan 22, I had free scans and X-rays then we discussed the deterioration of my teeth and came up with a plan to do an "all-on-four" for my bottom teeth and some veneer work on the uppers. To be honest it did seem a lot of money and I did think about going on holiday and getting the work done in Turkey, then I left it a while, well about a year to be honest. I had talked to a couple of friends who had done the "Turkey Teeth" experience and told me about the problems they had experienced with having to pay for multiple returns to have adjustments and that settled it for me I was getting the work done down the road in Gravesend. In Feb 23 I was given more free scans but these showed serious deterioration in a just a year. Rik explained that, if I wanted, we could go ahead with the original plan but the scans showed that my heavily damaged upper teeth would probably need extraction in a few years which would cause problems with new lower teeth and that to do it separately I would end up paying twice and he suggested that I think about doing all the work in one hit and saving a shedload of money by doing so. I had a think about it and quickly realised it was the way to go and a week later (10/02/23) I had my temporary "recovery" teeth (bridges) in. It was an amazing difference even though they were only my temporary teeth, everyone kept saying how good they looked. I have been back for several follow-up check ups and fittings and now have my final teeth/bridges in and I am well happy.
I want to thank Rik and all of the team for their friendly professionalism and I look forward to seeing you all soon for my next dental hygiene appointment.

I am undertaking invisilign treatment…
I am undertaking invisilign treatment here. I have paid thousands for shocking service. No one calls back. They lie on the phone when braces have not been ordered...incompetent. I'm gutted that I paid to have treatment with them, wish I'd used the 5000 elsewhere. I am constantly over promised and delivered poor outcomes. Save your money or find a competent team. I dred going in there but need to finish treatment if I ever can get braces delivered. Can't wait for it to be over so I can find a new private dentist.

If you are Dentophobic don't bother , if you want to see a top salesman that could probably sell anything Rik is your man , unable to take the time to listen to your fears pound notes ringing up in his head taking over , I cancelled 10 pain free teeth being pulled out before any orders or work had been done and got told I owed £1000 and was forgotten about when I said I would take up with the GDC and with legal representation , which I will be doing for the Xrays/ scans which they have failed to forward to me .
