Perfectly covered
I had asked about my dog getting treated for having a grass seed in her ear as another company said they would treat any visit to the vet as an ongoing symptom and would not cover her for this for two years which really surprised me but Becky at Perfect Pet reassured me she would be covered with their insurance

The customer service advisor Oliver was lovely and helpful, explained everything too me -
The situation I faced which is basically that my dog was unwell over the days my policy was renewed, meaning I have to pay two excesses is appalling! One excess for last year, one for this year! One illness, one episode, one treatment.
Doesn’t seem overly fair when we’ve had the policy for 9 years and haven’t even claimed For the last 7/8 years.

Crossbreed Payment
As an insurer you expect customers to be able to fill out the correct details, so by not being able to provide an informed, correct payment for breed of pet is ridiculous. A pure bred and crossbreed are completely different dogs, and therefore should never be the same charge.

they dont pay back your costs
so we took our dog to the out of hours vets as he caught a stick in his mouth and was not eating/ drnking - the cost of the bill was £1,228.39, This insurance company paid out £464.29, when challenged stating they dont cover things like surgical packs and lots of other things used in surgery. So if you have a dog and he has an accident and requires surgery, I wouldnt bank on this company paying you very much. I have never had such a poor service from as this from any previous pet insurance. shocking.
