My item has been stuck in customs for two weeks. I paid via PayPal and have now requested a refund because the delay is unacceptable.
I believed I was purchasing from an Australian-based company because that’s how it was presented, but it appears this is not the case. If I had known the item was being shipped internationally and could end up stuck in customs, I would have ordered elsewhere.
When I contacted them, this was their response:
“We sincerely apologise that this shipment is experiencing an unusually long delay due to customs clearance. This is a rare situation and, unfortunately, outside our direct control. Please allow us a few more days to resolve the matter with the courier and customs authorities. If we are unable to resolve the issue within that time, we will proceed with issuing you a full refund.”
Too little, too late. The bigger issue is the lack of communication. If I hadn’t reached out, would they have even told me the item was stuck in customs?
Very disappointing experience and not what you expect when you think you're buying from an Australian company. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing from here.
