Purchased a BMW from Ponko recently. Dealt with Matt who was very professional and knowledgeable about the Car and performance cars in general. Also massive compliments to Sam and Steve, aftersales care was second to none. I did call them about a query I had with the car and they were more than happy to help and it was swiftly resolved with a return visit. Thanks again!!!!

The after-sales team were absolutely brilliant - I called with an issue on the Friday I purchased the car, they booked an appointment and the issue was rectified whilst I waited onsite. Great communication from Steve, always kept me informed on the progress of the vehicle - very happy.

I really appreciated the team's efficient and attentive approach when my car had a problem with its AdBlue system. The issue was resolved quickly and I was kept well informed throughout the process. The team also identified another potential issue with wear on the clutch during their work and kindly took extra time to provide me with advice and guidance about how to minimise this. I've also previously had my car serviced with Ponko. It was easy to book in and the team were very friendly and helpful in advising me regarding the most appropriate service type for the car.

Haydn was very helpful durring the purachsing process. However, when I took it for a test drive the tyre low pressure alarm was illuminated, not a concern as presumed their garage would give it a once over before I collected it. Collected the vehicle, alarm had been cleared but 100mtrs down the road it came on again. Had to go to a garage to pump all the tyres up

Bought a Vauxhall Astra hatchback from Ponko today! Matthew our sales man was really helpful, gave us all the details and information we needed. A lovely place to have a look at new cars and buy from and very friendly.

As others have found, the vehicle inspection list appears to be a work of fiction (either that or whoever completes it is incompetent/lazy). It includes items that were supposedly 'checked' despite the car not having them (e.g. a sunroof).

Worst of all, the engine oil had supposedly been checked and was OK. I took the car to a local reputable garage for a service as soon as I got it (as I noticed it hadn't been serviced for a while)... and there was basically little/no oil in the engine. Luckily the engine doesn't appear to have been damaged but Ponko had been doing test drives in it. I'm also surprised that the car had passed a recent MOT as the front windscreen wipers were so degraded they needed replacing (something else the vehicle check had apparently missed).

Overall, it's very much a case of 'caveat emptor'. You can't trust the supposed vehicle inspection list. If you're not mechanically minded, take someone with you who knows their way a car and an engine - and get any vehicle checked as soon as possible after purchase.

Based on my personal experience, if you value your time and money, stay away from Ponko used cars. The salesperson, acted as if he was doing us a favor, and his attitude was ridiculous. Maybe he was in a bad mood, but as customers, we are paying for their service.

The car was faulty, and we reported it the same day. There was no response; they asked me to share details of a local garage, but nothing came of it. I ended up rejecting the car, and they took it for servicing. However, they took a month just to make that decision.

They never answer calls, never call back, and demonstrate irresponsible customer service, especially from customer service. They seem very nice until you pay the deposit, but after that, their attitude changes completely. After more than a month, they returned my car with the same faults—it’s still burning oil. I rejected the car again, but they denied my claim..

I found the faults within hours after bought the car , its been months and months no solution , Really irresponsible customer service. Whenever we called they will answer ask for our details for calling us back and they never , we have to share our story to the reception staff every single time and they never call back
Either the mails replies are also not helpful.

I hope the owner reads these reviews. I also wish the owner of Ponko should send their staff to other dealerships to observe and learn how to serve customers and communicate with them effectively..

I have given them more enough time to resolve my issue and I am now pursuing legal action. I do not recommend Ponko used cars.
