Disgusting company

Disgusting company
Disgraceful ableist horrendous

Couldn’t get back to my car due to autistic child in complete overwhelm. Was only a bit late. And they refuse the appeal. Sometimes you can’t get a child like this through traffic in the dark and rain and keep them safe. It has to be done slowly. And I couldn’t manage it. So sad

Always photo your ticket and retain for a month

my wife parked in the Lord Nelson Car park in Topsham, entered her Reg No, paid £3.40 for 2 hours and put the ticket on the dashboard. she exited within the timeframe.
2 week later a Penalty letter arrives requesting £100 saying she had not paid. On appeal PPS were asked to prove it but came up with 3 pages of gobblygook. Most Companies always rely on back-up duplicates so they can reconcile accounts, plus i also believe they have cameras at the site that would confirm her claim.
She has appealed to IAS and is awaiting a response. Having read the Reviews on this platform she won't get the nod. Consequently I will take her case to the Parking Omsbudsman
Avoid PPS at all cost - charletans

Absolute despicable company

Absolute despicable company. I tried many times to speak to an actual person and kept getting redirected on a loop back to the same automated recorded message! All of which was on a premium rate 0845 number. I tried to pay online within the 14 days at the “reduced rate” of £60 but was unable to. This is an absolute scam and a disgrace. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid PPS car parks

Robbing Bar-Stewards

Robbing Bar-Stewards
When parking at Bovisand Beach in Plymouth, make sure you use the correct code (check the machine) don’t just use the first one that comes up on RingGo as there are two codes and I used the incorrect one and got fined! Condescending email reply after my appeal with no option to respond.

I parked at Sunny Corner Mevagissey on…

I parked at Sunny Corner Mevagissey on 20/8/23 paid £5.20 for parking and received a parking charge notice early in September, stating I had not paid. I appealed sending a copy of the bank card payment, the appeal was rejected the reason being given that I had input the wrong registration number and it was obviously my error. I was told that there was no fault with the ticket machine.
I would contend that there was a fault and the machine keypad was failing to record the car registration correctly. A look at the reviews posted on this site and others would indicate this to be the case as there are numerous reviews which state machine at fault. I only paid up as I live 360 miles away and to contest this at court would involve a round trip of over 700 miles. This is a money making scam as most people who would contest this live too far away to do so. A firm of sharks!!!

Appeal system is a joke.

Doesn’t matter what information you send to them they reject any appeal, I got fined even though I tried to pay, I would have taken it the whole way but my vehicle is my companies so eventually I had to pay. Avoid at all costs.

I like many others on here paid cash…

I like many others on here paid cash for 2 hours parking and returned within the 2 hours. I go a letter through with a fine of £60 to be paid within a set amount of time. I like others had discarded my paid parking ticket as it was over 2 weeks before.

I appealed stating that if they check their cameras located at the pay machines they would see me paying, I gave them a full description of myself and what I was wearing and offered to send a photo of me that day at Mevagissey.

They never responded to checking the cameras but turned down my appeal giving me days to pay before an increase to £100 and if fail to do so debt recovery proceedings will follow.

It has caused me stress and upset, I have 2 young children and work as a special needs teaching assistant so I earn very little so simply cannot afford to pay but am bullied into it because I abide by the law and hate to get into trouble. I feel trapped as I know they are scamming lots of cash paying people yet I’m about to give away my hard earnt £60 after being honest and buying a parking ticket.

AVOID any PPS car parks, I know I will! I’ll also photograph every parking ticket from now on.

Fraud!!!!!

Avoid all PPS car parks at all cost

Avoid all PPS car parks at all cost. They will find a way to fine you even when you prove and they agree that you have paid. Appealing is a waste of time. I asked BBC Spotlight to help but they couldn’t get anywhere with them. This company should be closed down and prosecuted. I bet this review doesn’t appear on their testimonials page

sunny corner car park rip off

Parked in sunny corner car park mevagissi was not happy to find that when you pay for your ticket via the RingGo app they charge you more than if you pay at the machine, they should not be allowed to get away with this and mevagissi council should do something about it if they want to encourage people to visit their town.

I paid for parking at the Navigation…

I paid for parking at the Navigation Inn at Stoke Bruerne. £4.00 was the charge advertised on the Car Park sign. Paid via Ring Go App but charged £8.00. Have emailed Premier Parking and tried to phone them for a refund and have been totally ignored. They have 7 days to sort this matter out or, as I have informed them in writing I will take this matter to the County Court for a refund. It may only be £4.00 but a greater princile is at stake here.

Avoid PPS car parks at all costs

Avoid PPS car parks at all costs . Parked in one of their car parks whilst away in Devon on holiday on three occasions and on the second occasion got a ticket although I had paid via RINGGO . Provided them with the necessary evidence but they refused. Took it to the independent appeals agency but they are also useless as they are supported by PPS so it is in their interest to dismiss all appeals

AVOID PPS CAR PARKS

Goes against the grain to have to give even 1star.
Take note of all the 1star reviews and be very wary when parking in a Car park whose operator is Premier Parking Solutions.
Don’t even bother trying to appeal (you’ll get nowhere)!!!

Unethical Practice

During a touring holiday in Cornwall, I parked my car in Sunny Corner Car Park in Mevagissey. I bought a ticket for 2 hours at the ticket machine and displayed it in my windscreen as I should. I returned to my car well within the time I had purchased and drove away. Fifteen days later, I received through the post a Parking Charge Notice from Premier Parking Solutions complete with ANPR photos claiming that I had not paid for my stay on their land. Of course, by then I had discarded the ticket as people invariably do – though I won’t from now on! The Notice was an invoice for £60 for unpaid parking and gave details of how to appeal. However, any appeal if rejected would delay the payment and thus the charge would immediately rise to £100. I issued an appeal and as predicted this was turned down so I now owe them £100. I then appealed to a so-called Independent Appeal Organisation (though it’s not really “independent” because the whole car-park management industry is self-regulated! How many turkeys vote for Christmas eh?). This too was rejected. My only 2 remaining courses of action are to shell out the £100 and draw a line under the whole appalling episode or opt to have my day in court which in my case would be prohibitively expensive.
I have checked out several internet forums as well as Trustpilot on this subject and discovered that I am far from alone in this sorry saga. Dozens of people have reported that this has happened to them in car parks managed by PPS – quite a few of them at the same car park as myself. It seems that their ticket machines are not always recording the car registration numbers so tickets purchased (even on the rare occasions they are retained) aren’t a valid proof of purchase.
I would urge any other victims to do everything they can to raise awareness of the scandalous practices employed by this company to fleece innocent motorists. Write to your MP, the local County Council, websites like Facebook, MSE, Mumsnet etc. Even if it's too late for us to avoid our financial losses, we can make sure PPS get maximum adverse publicity.

8/6/23 Just heard back from my MP see below:

Avoid at all cost

Ticket bought and displayed on 13th May and yet still received fine. After almost 2 weeks I no longer had the ticket so was unable to challenge their claim. This company are clearly charlatans and definitely should be investigated. I would strongly advise against parking at their Athenaeum car park

Ticket paid and Blue badge in place

Ticket paid for. Disabled badge in car. Still got a ticket as they totally ignore the blue badge which entitles you to an extra hour. Look out for car parks run by them and avoid. You can't talk to anyone and they don't respond to paperwork. This Company should be investigated.
