Fantasic

Very knowledgeable about the products. very good service. fast turnaround. we needed a projector in a hurry for a virtue studio we were setting up at fitness gym. helped us choose the right projector for the set up. Highly recommended.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Product didn’t arrive next day and contacted justprojectors on 3 occasions before was sorted and pointed out problem with delivery company.

I'm sorry that you were not happy that we did not mention any gadgets to help you run your slide show. I have checked with Ross and it does seem that he did find you a low cost solution to control your PC to run slide shows. I think maybe your older projector had a remote control that did this. It is very rare that new projectors offer this on remotes now, this is reflected in the erosion of projector prices and the alternatives now available than these type of remotes.

I wondering could not have anticipated that you did not have a presenter as this is something that supports you PC rather than a gadget for a projector, I'm not sure. I always take feedback from customers very seriously and appreciate that you were not happy. This is a first for us in regard to this comment but will endeavour if people mention that they are using the projector to run slide shows, we ask them if they will to buy the Targus at the same time. I hope you are enjoying your projector.

Poor after sales service and still no refund …

So the experience started very well with some good advice on which projector to select and the projector arrived on time. However it was not suitable poor lumen annd green when high brightness and so arranged to send it back and swap for another projector which also arrived well packed but took a little longer. I first had to return the original projector with specific packaging instructions which was also fine and they received. The problem has come when refunding the difference owed. I like other reviews did not realise they take 30 days which is clearly too much time but even after 30 days, they have still not refunded. I am now contacting my credit card company in what should have been a straightforward refund which now wasted my time and theirs. It’s a shame that such poor after service lets down what it is a good pre-sales service. There are many other providers you can order from that don’t take 30 days to refund your money so please be aware before you order from Just Projectors.

I can only apologise, it’s completely my fault that the £77.82 wasn’t actioned . Everyone did their bit but I just missed it and then was off for two weeks . It’s been actioned now. I think we got back the first unit on the 15th

This is a 5 star company! Knowledgeable and very helpful, with great pricing and the willingness to go the extra mile. We have bought two projectors from them - Viewsonics -for church use, here at Gospel Community Church in Newcastle and Blyth. These get set up and packed away after every service and have stood up to being transported to venues week in, week out. We had a small issue with losing our invoice for the accountants and Ross was super helpful - thank you Ross! If you are looking for a video or data projectpor please try this company first!

Misleading Purchase, Poor Communication, and Return Issues

29 October 2024 Update
I have now recieved the funds back from Just Projectors. Therefore I’ll update from one star to two stars. That said I’d like a voucher for the inconvenience of two months worth of hassle and wasted time for what should have been a straightforward purchase. I request here as the company seems only to respond after these reviews.

Just projectors advise that my refund will be made within a week. If so then i can update my rating, though would have much preferred this to be done via normal customer services.

I had high hopes for this purchase, a Sony Laser projector that was approx £4300, 10% under the brand new price —but unfortunately, the experience has been very disappointing and in retrospect I should have opted for a reputable dealer. The product I received was not as described: it looked used, aged, and had far more hours of usage than advertised. Before buying, I called to confirm its condition and was reassured it had only two hours of use. That was clearly not the case, so I initiated a return.

Since then, things have gone downhill. The company’s returns policy, buried in the fine print, states that refunds won’t be issued until 30 days after receiving the item—far too long, especially given the significant amount of money involved. I’ve tried reaching customer service multiple times, but I only get vague responses that someone will follow up, which has never happened.

The return process itself was a mess—incorrect labels were issued multiple times, and the DHL driver failed to collect the item on three occasions. Eventually, after I complained, they arranged for TNT to collect the projector. Since then, I’ve had no confirmation on when my refund will be processed, and my only communication has been a single email from a representative, Ross, a week after the return.

I really wanted to like this company, but the experience has left me very unsatisfied. I hope this review highlights the poor post-sales experience, and I encourage the company to improve its communication and expedite the refund process. I’d prefer to resolve this without having to escalate, but I may have to explore options like contacting my credit card provider if this isn't resolved soon or the small claims court via gov.uk.

Hi Mr Ahmed, I have checked our records and here is what I have found

Firstly we do indicate that there is two hours or less and we were surprised when you received it, there was 35 hours on it. We have sold over 92 of these all with under 2 hours. However they have a 20,000 lamp life and anything 200 hours is classed by Sony as an "A" Grade which you purchased for a significant reduction in normal new price. When you informed us in the 4/9 at 12.31 that the projector had imaging issues and you were not happy with it's condition, We responded on the 5/9 13.21 just over 24 hours later giving you a problem log ticket.

We contacted Sony to see why there was an issue and they agreed in the 9/9 to take it back and we communicated that with you and asked about the packaging.

We offered you a white unit with 0 hours on it as we did not have another black unit available. We did that on the 9/9

11/9 you declined that offer of a zero hours unit but asked us if we had a black one.

11/9 We said you could purchase a new black one with zero hours but that could not be at graded price as it was a new unit.

12/9 as we had not had a response from you, so we chased as we wanted to get this matter dealt with quickly to your satisfaction.

12/9 you replied and gave us full address.
13/9 we told you that this had booked with DHL for the 16/9 which by us giving DHL your email address you get notification and we are aware you received that email.
15/9 You sent us pictures of it ready to be collected.
16/9 collection did not take place , DHL had not provided us any failure notice so we were unaware it.
18/9 you emailed us to say it had not been collected.
18/9 we sent you another collection note for it to be collected on the 19/9 and a picture of the label again so you could see we had actually booked it correctly , like the first time.
20/9 You said we were delaying collection and demanded we pay refund you before the goods are back. Or you would take us to the small claims court
20/9 We replied that is not possible but it is booked still and we will push DHL to try and go there this afternoon.
23/9 We booked it with TNT for collection on the 24/9 as DHL had failed to collect. Sent you labels which you confirmed you had received and stuck on the parcel.

We have now received the projector back and it has been tested by Sony and no fault was found. And we have agreed to process the refund which is not in any small print that could take 30 days but with a view to under promise and over deliver. It will be done this week.

I fully appreciate that it is a massive disappointment when something is purchased for so much money that it does not met your expectations especially as it was for your home. But the fact remains that we are a reputable company that in fact sent you a projector that had minimal hours on it, offered you another one but not in the colour you wanted. Send DHL out twice to collect and they failed, something we have little control over and then organised another courier. There is endless communication in a timely fashion. I am pleased you got a solution that you are happy with.

To confirm refund was processed last week. I hope you are willing to look at your review now as suggested once refund received. Thanks
