My Daughter booked her car in
My Daughter booked her car in, online, for 2 front tyres. When I took her car at the pre arranged time, I was told that she had ordered the incorrect size, no issues.
Protyre had the correct size in stock, I was charged £180 after deciding which brand of tyre to purchase, the same that she booked online.
When I got home to tell her about the incorrect tyre size and the cost, she went on the Protyre website, exactly the same tyres were priced at £150!
I have emailed Protyre, to give them an opportunity to explain the extra cost but not had a reply, hence the 2 star review.

I discovered a screw in one of my tyres…
I discovered a screw in one of my tyres so popped into the Buckley store on the off-chance they could check it out for me. I was dealt with almost immediately by a very friendly staff member. Within minutes they were dealing with it and within 20 mins I was on my way again. Everywhere was clean and tidy and I was offered a drink whilst waiting.

After getting a puncture I had an RAC…
After getting a puncture I had an RAC man switch wheels for me. I went straight to Protyre in Buckly. They ordered the appropriate tyre which arrived next day. Fitted with no fuss at a reasonable price. Left wheel with them fo RAC to collect. Like clockwork. Thank you.

Showed up with out an appointment
Showed up with out an appointment. Had a puncture that needed repairing. The reception staff were very helpful and got me on my way very swiftly. Have been a long time protyre customer and they have never let me down

What happened to Buckley tyres
Absolute shambles. Not even close to the Buckley tyres of old.
Pro's:
1) able to view tyres, purchase tyres and book appointments onlin
That's kind it from my experience today.
Cons:
• arrive for the booking with nothing prepared. (Staff, tyres, equipment) - a scheduled appointment you think everything would be ready to go.
•as I was watching a young lad look totally bemused on what he was supposed to be doing, he took approx 15 mins from the start of my booking time to remove two front wheels.
From this point he then began to do some checks on wheels, brake discs, brake pads etc and also checked the rear (which I wasn't having changed)
•when asked what was taking so long, apparently a simple tyre change now comes with a vehicle health check? Not that I asked for one!
I appreciate the time taken to do this and I'm sure if there were any issues they would be brought to my attention, but I've simply booked an appointment for 2 x tyre change.
Eventually another worker assisted, and it was still a farce watching them attempt to align the wheel to put it back on.
Staff (some) so slow at moving around the garage 😴
All in all, what I thought (expected) would have been a quick job turned out to be 50 minutes of my time...almost an hour to change 2 tyres??? Can't be good for business that!
Unfortunately I won't be returning, as good as the opportunity is to view tyres and book scheduled appointments online, it doesn't out weigh the length of time for the job. I don't have an hour to just sit around for this to be complete
I looked in the waiting room and then realised the same people sitting there from when I arrived 🤯
Such a shame, the history and reputation of Buckley tyres depleted n my opinion. The staff don't seem half bothered if they are taking their ages on each vehicle.
