Two new tyres

Got a good price on two new tyres and free wheel balancing. Online booking is easy and straightforward and they usually have a selection of suitable tyres in stock. The premises are a little bit hectic when busy and some of the staff a bit impatient when you drive your car to the wrong place (its not clearly indicated). Apart from that a good experience. Otherwise very well equipped and competent.

Quick efficient repair gets me on my 250+ miles journey.

Just about to set off to drive 250+miles to Newcastle and find a nail in the tyre. Straight to Micheldever Tyres, short queue, short wait in the customer lounge and tyre repair done quickly and efficiently and I’m ready to start my journey. Fair price. How good is that?

My recent visit to the Micheldever…

My recent visit to the Micheldever Station site was an unnecessary long wait - it took almost 3.5 hours for a routine replacement of 4 tyres and alignment. I had even ordered, paid and booked in advance, but this didn't change me joining the long queue. They were undertaking some repairs/upgrades on some of the bays, which was indicated as the cause for delay - but this was never explained to me or any other customer as we all suffered ridiculous long waits in this recent heat. When I watched the cars in the active bays there were extended periods of time when there were no workers out there touching any of the cars. And I watched my wheels sat on the conveyor belt after tyres replaced for nearly 30 minutes, just waiting and waiting before anyone picked them up to put on the car. The staff appeared more interested in walking around chatting and having an ice cream. I appreciate it was warm, but thankfully all the bays are shaded and there was a breeze - it was cooler out there than in the waiting room. I won't be going back to Micheldever tyres as despite the appearance of an experienced production line for swift tyre changes, they clearly rest on laurels of their reputation and the customer service was absent during a wait that I do not want again.

I arrived on time and were seen straight away. I was advised as to how many tyres I would need and how much the bill would be.

Booked appointment and paid ahead

Booked appointment and paid ahead. When arrived, had to just join the queue of drive ups. Was told there was not a separate queue for people who booked. Had to wait about 75 mins. No complaints about service. Just don’t know why they offer booking online when it doesn’t actually exist

Excellent Service

Excellent service from the initial tyre assessment and recommendation, to the tracking insights and professionalism, to the tyre technicians support and helpful information (learned about TPMS valves!), to the final checkout.

Good Service

Good experience although got the pricing wrong and had to change the four tyres already fitted. All sorted and will happily use again.

Great service

Had a mot here, car failed on bulge in tyre which they replaced immediately and then slotted back in for a mot retest so that I didn’t have to return another time. All sorted in a couple of hours. Great service.

When I was getting my tyres changed, it suddenly occurred to me that I've been getting my tyres done there for 41 years ( and I'm pretty much sure that two of the guys there have been there all that time). So, as always, great place, great service. Thanks guys!

Paint on Alloy wheel was chipped during tyre fitting, complete denial from Manager and staff seemed to find it all amusing.
The long wait in the queue (over 40 minutes , and I was Second in line on arrival) was definitely not worth the few quid saved on Tyre price. After nearly 40 years of my patronage I will not be visiting again. This used to be a very efficient, well run establishment, staff all appeared very inexperienced and one in particular did nothing but distract others the whole 90 minutes I was there.
