I got stuck with them for a year, and after that they’ll move heaven an earth to keep you on. I cancelled in mid June, the phone call took 11 minutes, and they won’t let me leave until the end of July.

Rubbish, just paid £10 so I could watch the racing from Aintree today. Can't even get a moving picture on app live Be aswell listening to radio. Don't pay it its a waste of money.

Can’t cancel for ages. When you do they keep hounding you. The dirtiest filth of a company ever.

I can't stress enough how poo RTV product is, particularly the live feed via the web, either desktop or mobile. I is such a bad useless product that I really don't know why they even bother providing it via these channels, and not just via Sky satellite. Oh wait, yes I do, it's so they can lock you into that initial 12 monthly contract to make yo suffer their poo product for a whole year while they rape your pockets for 12 months, with no chance of getting out.
Sorry, but I've done my time, done my RTV bird and Im out, done! But unfortunately still have to suffer their poo product via other channels i.e. betfair/bookies. Which is also another pish take because RTV's customers (bookmakers) actually recieve the newer faster streaming technology... and its STILL a load of mank. Maybe I am being a bit hard because every blue moon it does work flawlessly tbf. But any other colour moon and you might as well be back in the 80's on a dial up modem by the time the next picture frame is ready. Its like watching one of those amature animation videos where there's a few seconds between each image frame and the object skips across the screen.

If I can give one piece of advice, one recommendation re RTV, that would be, whatever you do, no matter what, DO NOT PAY A SUBCRIPTION!!! I guarantee you will regret it. And there's no way out, not for 12 months at least. Wait until these reviews get better, until then just use it for free via other means. Dont be a mug like I was!
For something that is the main racing feed provider across the nation and beyond, what a load of crap.#
Sky races are delayed slightly but work great. RTV need to take some tips off the drone guys because with a lot less tech they put RTV feed to shame.

Shocking company. Stay well clear of them. Zero star rating.
I was with them for at least 15 years at £25 a month. Decided to cancel. Cancelled Direct Debit with my bank and tried to call the company but to no avail. They then contacted me and said I was due £11.95 but they said I could have the service for £12 a month for a year if I stayed. I declined but was angry that they had taken my money all these years and never offered me a discount before this for my loyalty.
A couple of days later, I received a letter saying they were transferring my debt to a debt recovery agency but no amount was stated in the letter. I called them and queried this. They said I should have given 30 days notice to cancel!!!!! If they'd answered their phones when i called initially, it would have been fine but I had to give up and just cancel at my bank. My wife works in a bank and knows for a fact that these cancellation instructions would have been received by Racing UK within two days. Strongly advise anyone not to use this company!!!!!

Try and cancel nearly impossible. I didn’t get contacted by them instead sent it to a collections company for £8. Quick enough to send marketing emails but couldn’t even send me an invoice

Zero zero stars. £10 a month great but trying to then cancel won't accept email notification that you wish to cancel.
Leave those loyal to your 12 months at £10 a month and retain them. £26 a month no way. When you compare to other providers Netflix, Amazon, Now tv, Sky even BBC iplayer.

30 day trial...rang up to cancel immediately..
Told to ring back at the end of the trial, I did to be told you're now in a 12 month contract. Not advised of this on the original call ..they said they would listen to the call and come back to me. 2 weeks later nothing.

As so many others on here have, I e been charged after cancelling my DD.. I'm requesting a chargeback from my bank now but don't sign up to these scum bags. How can they charge when their station in loaded with adverts anyway??

I haven't actually joined yet but this morning they cold called me saying I had been on their website! I thought it was a scammer so hung up! Seems very dodgy too get cold called by racing TV too me...they offered 10 pounds a month deal but after reading the reviews I'm happy to leave it

Quite happy with my £24.98 subscription - then went on holiday and lost my wallet so had to cancel my cards. Advised the lady who called I was waiting for replacement cards and 2 days letter get a debt collection letter from BPO which dropped my credit score 165 points. Absolutely avoid - as previously mentioned the lag is little short of useless for in-play. Who on earth refers a debt less than a week old to a DCO!

Absolute robbers! Cancelled my subscription giving them 30 days notice as per the t&c’s, was told my contract would end 6 weeks later so they would take another full payment 2 weeks after my call. I argued the point stating I was abiding to the t&c’s etc so I advised them I would be cancelling my direct debit for the last payment and could they advice how much I would owe to cover me for the next 30 days. I heard nothing. This weekend I have received a letter from a debt collecting agency for £10.83 with I have had not correspondence from rtv about this

Mis-sold an annual subscription. Poor business practice and something OFCOM and British Horse Racing Authority must investigate. Does nothing for Racing TV's reputation and brings sport of Horse Racing into disrepute. This short termism by Racing TV is business suicide. Judging by reviews on here it is a common problem. AVOID!

Do not join they trick you into a 12 month contract they do not make it clear and when you try and cancel you are stuck in contract , racing post are great can cancel anytime should be more like them

Be aware of this company I subscribe 1 month for Cheltenham festival for £25 but now I been charged last 4 months when I called them they said it was for 12 month subscriptions which is totally a lia

I had a 12 month subscription but separated from my wife and couldn't afford Sky. I phoned them up and they told I couldn't cancel my subscription because I can watch it on my phone? I then got in to a lot of debt due to moving out and my credit card got cancelled. Racing TV tried to take 2 payments unsuccessfully.

They are now calling me daily from the finance department. I explained my situation and said sometimes circumstances strange and I have no money to pay off the remainder of the contract. The women said I was lying and that anyone can just make up a change in circumstances. I said I have £90 until payday and she didn't seem bothered and wanted the money. I said I would remember this conversation whereby you called me a liar and wanted my final weeks wages to be used to pay off this subscription.

I would never recommend signing up to Racing TV, cancelling is hard and no empathy when being truthful about my circumstances.

I mistakenly thought I had signed up to pay just under £25 a month, for a month’s subscription, just to watch Cheltenham Fedtival. This is how it looked to me on their website. No where was it made obvious this was a 12 month contract. I wouldn’t have committed to a 12 month contract had I known. I thought I would be able to stop the coverage and cancel at anytime. I swear this is how the offer was portrayed on their website for the Cheltenham Festival. Now that has all disappeared from the website and I can’t control my account from their App, you have to ring them.
Tried phoning to cancel subscription after they took the 2nd monthly payment, to be told I am legally now stuck in a 12 month contract and it’s my responsibility to phone them in February 2023 to give 30 days notice, otherwise they’ll just keep taking the payments! I will hear no correspondence from them!!
Absolutely disgusting company! I cannot believe they’re allowed to operate in this way in 2022. I now have to pay £25 a month for 11 further months for a service I don’t want!
I believe their website subscription promotions are very misleading and they do not warn you enough that it’s actually a 12 month contract you’re signing up for.
