Shocking event not as described, a very expensive fair at £5 per ride. There is only one monster truck which gives rides. The stunt show was poor and kept breaking. I would never recommend to go to this show. It was supposed to be a nice family day out and ended costing a lot of money that was after the queue outside the event for over half hour. I would not waste time engaging in the event. I have asked for my money back to be told this doesn't warrant a refund. Don't WASTE YOUR MONEY find a genuine event to take your family to.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Cancelled the event last minute and changed to a date that we could not attend. When I contacted them for a refund it took them 35 days to contact me back to tell me a refund can not be given. Absolutely appaling service. Disgusting to steal hard earned money off families looking for a nice day out in this financial climate. Never ever again will I book with them. Disguting

Event stated Monster Trucks but they did not attend. Email sent by them offering refund if customers didn’t want to attend due to advertised main attraction not being there. After requesting refund - 6 weeks later - they have refused and no appeal process. Just do not contact further as decision is final! Terrible customer service and even worse going back on email.

We booked this event specifically to see the monster truck, only to find out that it wasn’t going to be there. What’s even more disappointing is that we were not contacted directly about this important change.
We had already set off on the 1½-hour journey when we happened to find out through a Facebook post from someone else who was unhappy. Had we not seen that post, we would have travelled all that way without knowing.
We were told that if we were unhappy with the change, we could request a refund if we chose not to attend. Based on this, and after reading further reviews about the event, we decided to turn around and go elsewhere.
We have now requested the refund we were told we could have, only to be told they won’t refund us and instead are offering us a free ticket to another event.
Why would we want to attend another event when our experience has already left us completely put off? We booked this event for the monster truck, it was no longer attending, we weren’t properly informed, and we relied on the information given to us regarding a refund.
Very disappointing customer service and communication. We simply want the refund we were told we were entitled to.

I wish i could do 0 stars! DO NOT USE - We were due to attend a show in August however the show was then cancelled and moved to another date unfortunately we couldn’t make this as we were away so i emailed back to let them know that we would like a refund as it was no fault of our own. I then got a response to ask for our ticket details etc. i sent them straight back and didn’t hear anything for a few days so chased. They then responded on the 14th August to allow up to 10 working days for the refund. 10 working days on and we still hadn’t received anything so i chased again. To this day i still haven’t had a response and are now being ignored. I have emailed multiple times, messaged them on facebook, commented on facebook posts (along with many other people asking for responses!) and then found an alternative email on their website and forwarded the previous email thread on to them. Upon more investigation i am now seeing bad reviews and more and more comments on social media from customers asking for responses or not receiving their tickets after paying, do not bother!! I am absolutely disgusted that we aren’t the only people who are being ignored and are having trouble even getting a response in regards to getting our money back! I can’t believe they are getting away with this, it’s also extremely infuriating that they continue to post multiple times daily on social media but cannot respond to anybody because they know they’re in the wrong! Will never ever use them again. SCAM

Do not waste your money. Booked this for a day out with the kids who were looking forward to seeing the monster truck show for us to receive an email a couple of days before to say the ONE monster truck had broken down. As my children were no longer interested in going due to there not actually been a monster truck show, I requested a refund.
Communication was responded quickly in the first instance, I was asked to complete a form after providing all the information via messenger, I was then asked to provide it again and not heard a word since.
Suddenly email address is unmonitored and tells you not to expect a response, although they replied from there to start with. An automated message tells you to message on Facebook but you never get a response from Facebook.
Stay well away from this scam.

Terrible company postponed the show and didnt tell anyone we found out on there website to check the timetable of the day we have sent multiple emails and messages since august and haven't received one reply to give us our email do not book with this company they are terrible

Would say this is more a motorbike show, monster trucks were there however after the initial show went back to motorbikes etc again. Went on the truck ride and seatbelts were not checked ended up with a sore stomach where I kept sliding into belt strap.
Vendors over priced glorified funfair. Motorbike rider from isle of man made sexual comments towards women language not great in front of children. No bumblebee or Optimus prime wandering about. Most people had had enough by lunchtime and left. Very underwhelming shows not worth the money

SCAM! Please do not part with your money! They havefrom us WE CANNOT get back… they don’t answer any messages, emails! The reviews are awful and Peter the CEO looks to be involved in several low rated companies! We have sort legal advice now and done a charge back. Seriously do not trust this company.

Very disorganised, the event was late opening as half (2) of the trucks were stuck on a lorry...however watching them unload was quite entertaining albeit nerve wracking and did result in questioning the whole events health and safety.

The stunts were underwhelming, largely bikes pulling wheelies and a few simple jumps. The monster trucks spent most of their short show getting unstuck...and you couldn't really hear what was happening as the narrator appeared to be using a bluetooth speaker rather than a PA system!

No trucks, bikes or vehicles that you can walk around either...it's basically a very expensive fun fair with some people riding bikes around in circles.

Most of the "attractions" were cash only and very expensive!

We left early after the monster trucks finished driving around in circles...most people had the same idea and we actually had to queue to leave the event because presumably soo many others were bored.

This is the first review I've written in 34 years of life...I just don't want anyone else to drive two hours there and back as well as pay the admission to watch what you can see in most supermarket car parks! Kids riding circles on bikes.

Honestly we have had an absolutely fantastic day! Ignore the negative comments. Yes the schedule changed, these things happen! But we still got to see all stunts and they were fantastic! Husband and wife show was hilarious! Food and fair rides a little pricey but thats the norm for any events like this. Something always going on, wrestling, live acts (my 2 year old loved Miss Rachel), stunts, foam party. Honestly we thought it was great and worth every penny. We paid £45 with the discount code for two adults and a child and we thought it was well worth it. Would definitely come again!

Disappointing day all round.
Very expensive food and fun fair. Coffee was undrinkable. Parking staff were flustered and getting into arguments with customers from 10am. Last minute, uncommunicated change to the schedule meant no monster truck displays in the morning at all. Husband and wife bike performance was frankly more sexist than entertaining. Wouldn’t recommend. If you’re planning this as a day out, think more shoddy travelling funfair + toy guns than wholesome family fun.

Motorfest was the most disappointing event I’be ever been; extremely overpriced, smaller than they make it look and the shows are not even shows. More like a podcast in real life, host would speak and speak but nothing would happen. Is more like a tiny fair for kids and the right plce if you want to waste time and money.
If you complaint, they will never return back to you. We left 1h after arriving and waiting 30min on a queue

If you are looking for great family fun for all ages this is the place to get booked into, we had the best day watching live shows, foam party, rides, food music and much more we loved it!

After buying tickets there was a whole explosion of comments on Facebook from customers complaining that the monster trucks would not be at the show. The company with the trucks refused to work with this event organiser so like many others who had not had any of this provided to them we set out for a refund.
This company basically by many of the reviews are a very expensive fun fair with high prices for the rides and a very poor show. I Would definitely look up all the reviews first and save your money. Also if anyone does book tickets with them be advised to check your bank account as this company put a subscription on my card so would be able to take money off card when they wanted. Don’t get coned.

Absolute con. Advertised heavily - even noted on the tickets - as a Monster Truck event.... it most certainly isn't. It's a travelling fair that you get in most towns with a single Monster Truck doing 3 minute rides for £12pp after an hours queue.

The only difference is that at this event you get to pay £75 for family parking!!! - complete rip off.

Rides are incredibly expensive.....

Really wish I checked here first. This isn't a monster truck event at all, it's a very expensive fun fair.
There is one monster truck, and it's a ride along that cost £12pp.
Not exactly sure what the expensive entry fee is for.. but expect to pay a further £50+ on the day..

Massive waste of money.

When I buy a ticket for an event titled Monster Truck Motorfest I expect to see some Monster trucks! There was a single Monster Truck giving rides at £12 each - no monster truck shows or displays. I essentially paid to go into an overpriced fairground. There were motorcycle and mountain bike stunts, but that's not what the event was advertised as.

Advertised showing lots of monster trucks but only one at the event which you had to pay £12 per person to experience a ride on. Everything was overpriced, hook a duck £6! Rides 4 to 6 pounds. Drinks and food very expensive too. The Arena 'shows' were completely underwhelming. Don't bother.

Underwhelming. Essentially an overpriced fun fair. Parking control from the main road was poor. The events were ‘ok’ but not fantastic. Fairground rides were rarely visibly priced and all were expensive. Had entry been free this would have been fine, but paying the ticket fee atop overpriced food / rides etc means we won’t visit again. You could get a day out at a theme park for less.
