6 seater Marston dining set.Poor quality furniture. Arrived in scruffy condition with scratches on glass top ,rattan itself was dirty and scratched. It looked like it was pre owned not brand new.

No order and No refund as yet
I have had a diabolical service from Rattan Direct, I ordered replacement cushion pads on 20/05/25 with a delivery date of 01/08/25. These had still not arrived in September.
I emailed the company, something had happened they were really sorry and would send them out asap. I asked for a refund as I no longer need them in September going into winter.
They said sorry again and said they would issue a refund (17/09/25) within 14 business days. 15/10/25 and no refund as appeared. After chasing this up they have said "we’re currently unable to provide a confirmed completion date, I meant that while your refund remains confirmed and securely logged in our system, the exact timing of when it will be finalised by our finance team has not yet been confirmed back to us".
NOVEMBER 11th - STILL NO REFUND

No refund received
Ordered a garden sofa in Mid-August, it wasn't suitable so arranged a return and a refund was promised with 14 days. However we are still waiting in mid-October, have chased via email and phone, but I have no confidence that it will be forthcoming so have reported it to the bank and awaiting a chargeback decision. Be wary!

Very Unhappy
We bought the furniture but it wasn’t what we wanted. We returned the goods and are still waiting for a refund which is now over 50 days since returning the goods absolutely disgusting will never buy from this company again🤬🤬🤬

A great company to deal with - friendly and helpful and exceptional quality products.
We have been buying outdoor furniture from Rattan Direct for years. We have bought for our own outdoor spaces, for friends as gifts, and as a special "thank you" to the carers in my parent's care home - giving them a private outdoor seating area for their breaks. The quality has always been superb and the delivery times excellent. On one occasion one chair was damaged on receipt and it was replaced without question and quickly. A great company to deal with - friendly and helpful and, as I say, exceptional quality products. Thank you!

Non refund of cancelled order
I wanted to order a storage box but it was not available in the colour I wanted. I got a call from Rattan offering me an alternative which was "in stock." I ordered it and sent the asking price of £420.00. When the item wasn't delivered I enqured as to why and was told the it was on back order and would not be available until next year. I cancelled the order and was promised a refund. The refund was not paid within the 14 working days and has not been forthcoming since, in spite of Rattan acknowledging it is due and promising to pay it as soon as possible. The most likely reason is that they haven't got any money and this should be a warning to anyone considering ordering from Rattan Direct.

Top quality furniture
Really good furniture, well made and even came with covers so really good value quality furniture & also came ready made which is always a bonus.
The only reason I have give 4 & not 5 stars is because I had to chase delivery and was delayed from when we thought we would receive but overall would recommend!

Decent quality and durable
The outdoor sofas we bought were delivered on time and have done us well for a couple of years now. Both the furniture and the cushions have proved to be durable and weather resistant, helped by using the protective covers over the winter. Competitively priced as well.

I have had my rattan set for about 8 years. The colour of the set has not faded & no breakages observed. I highly recommend Rattan.

We are repeat customers - so something must be right!
We are repeat customers, having ordered two separate sets of patio furniture since 2016, the last one in 2024 - and we still use both sets.
In between, we have bought some additional pieces and accessories. So, I think that we know the firm quite well.
One part of one order was delayed but since that was over a cold-spell of weather it didn't affect our enjoyment and on one another occasion there was one issue with damage caused during transit. Once notified, Rattan Direct replaced the item in as long as it took to courier another one out. I don't hold Rattan Direct responsible for damage in transit.
Overall, we are very happy with the business and their customer service staff.

Happy with my two seater garden sofa…
Happy with my two seater garden sofa that I purchased in the summer.
The cushions are still plump and comfortable.
The brown piping around the cream edges is attractive.
The ‘silver’feet that raise the base off the ground is a good feature.
Delivery was on the day scheduled.
Less pleased with the £19 ‘handling fee’,,,
The all weather cover is fabulous.Thick material not the flimsy plastic that you sometimes get.Really waterproof.

Furniture and Delivery.
I ordered a patio dinning set and an "L" shaped sofa set for our decking area , both sets arrived at the same time , it was on time if I remember correctly , believe me there was masses of boxes , one mistake I made I should have taken the delivery guys offer to take the packaging away with them lol , there were two cushions missing from the order but they arrived on the same day by courier , so it wasn't a problem , ordering on line was simple and straightforward , the quality is good , the price was right especially as they threw in a umbrella , base and cover free of charge , happy days , I have happily recommended RD to friends and family as everybody who comes round to ours loves the furniture especially the design of the table and chairs and footstools as they pack away so neatly under the cover which fits like a glove.
