Absolutely shocking. Where do I begin? The first word that springs to mind is CROOKS. These “people” specialise in agreeing a deal, waiting till you get there then moving goalposts. They want paying 3 days in advance, but when I asked for a refund today, was told 7 days!!!
They use bully boy tactics issued by their finance director to try and intimidate. Kenny the salesman is also an absolute LIAR and will say anything to get a signature.
Use if you wish, don’t just read about my miserable experience, there are plenty others on here.

Arranged to sell caravan to this company and explained there could be damp issues but it was under warranty. Drove almost 150 miles for them to inspect it. They offered £5000 less than they said on phone. The damp test showed less than expected. Pulled up on various problems which we priced up as costing £1800 max to fix. The van is 4 years old but It would seem they expected a brand new van to sell on immediately . Asked for a breakdown of their £5000 figure but they could only point out the seats showed some wear and the skylights were showing some dirty areas. A totally wasted journey. Every time we have had to deal with them after buying caravan they were difficulties. Would NEVER use them again.

At the gate we were treated with respect and courtesy. We were shown around and under no pressure to buy. Fell in love with a used Vigo at an amazing price and outstanding free offers. We chose £1000 off the price for our 20 year old part exchange. Highly delighted with every step of the way. They arranged a tracker to be fitted before we collected and put aside wheel and hitch lock for us. We got 10% off anything in their accessory shop. We had a two hour appointment on collection so every aspect of our van could be demonstrated. They even registered it to CRIS for us. We called the shop a few times to ask various questions and was always made to feel valued. Just before we hitched up, the customer service person realised our tow ball was not not compatible and rolled his sleeves up and changed it himself for us. Don’t get much better than that. All done under tight Covid restrictions. Highly recommend.

I Purchased a Brand New Buccaneer Cruiser Caravan in January 2020 and paid £31,000 I Booked it in for a service for the following year in February but because of the lock down my van has gone from the showroom to my drive and done forty five miles so in December I emailed them about my service I received a message to say they will be in touch with new dates to get it serviced.
In April still not heard anything So I made a call there answer was I was going to phone you next week to say we cant service it for you as we have others in the only time we can do it is in August but your warranty will be void you have to do it before the end of June and I had to phone around to get a mobile NCC APPROVED what a job yes I have managed to find one after contacting elddis
I explained that it hasent moved from the day I brought it home nor would they extend the warranty while they fitted it in I went to Raymond James as they did have good reviews and the caravan places around my area i.e. white arches, crowland caravans I would not give them custom
Raymond James could have phoned me earlier to say they couldn't fit it in so that gave me more time to find a service engineer elddis did say if anything needs replacing I would have to take it back to them but could they fit me in I wonder as there are little faults that I found rubber coming away from the windows outside handles not fitted properly the legs don't come down properly
I DO FEEL THAT I HAVE BEEN TREATED VERY POORLY THIS VAN WOULD HAVE BEEN WAITING 20 MONTHS

Firstly, I'm fully aware of current situation we all find we are all in.

I have a service booked in for tomorrow only just to find you are closed, so why have made no attempt to tell me in advance of your position?
I have waited almost 12 months for damp work to be completed 3rd occasion now every year since new it doesn't make any sense why no one has contacted me can you provide me with an explanation why?

Excellent company, we bought a Lunar from them, our first caravan and couldn't be more helpful with everything. We got a great deal, whenever we contacted them they responded quickly, they dealt with an after sale issue straight away and sent a brand new replacement. Would highly recommend.

Raymond James has been a Great Company to deal with, they are highly recommend in my book, fantastic handover, and above all, a superb deal to be had!

Of all the many years I have been dealing with Caravan Retailers, Raymond James is Topped ranked in my opinion.

UPDATE: Seriously impressed with Raymond James!
Recently, whilst using the caravan, the gas stopped working. Phoned Raymond James and they told us to drop it in to get it sorted. They were happy for us to take it in the next working day. The regulator had malfunctioned, which they replaced under warranty. Great service and every member of the service team that we have spoken to have always been friendly. It would be nice to rate them with more than 5 stars!

We have bought two caravans from Raymond James and I have no doubt we will return in the future. They offered a good part exchange price for our old van, based on the information we gave them and without seeing it. They honoured the valuation when we took our old van in, to swap for the new one. After sales has been very good. We have previously had a leaking window, which they booked in to rectify very quickly. On our most recent purchase we had an issue getting the ATC to work. We took the caravan back the same day so they could check this out. It transpired it was our car at fault, not the caravan. Every member of the Raymond James team that we have come across has been great and wanted to help, not just take our money.

Absolutely disgusted with treatment from this company. We purchased as brand new van from them & when we went to collect the fridge wouldn’t switch over to gas so they had to fix that, the door wouldn’t close properly & so had to wait for that to be fixed. When we got it home the gas pipe was faulty & so was leaking gas all over place, We had to drive back to get new one. One our first trip out in it found screws sticking out of the window frames & to top it off once we returned home the door wouldn’t open at all & all of our belongings were stuck inside. We contacted Raymond James who were not interested saying they don’t offer a call out service !!! We will have to wait to see when they can help us. Do not use this company at all as once they have your money they don’t care about any after sales service.

Do NOT deal with this Company at Atherstone! They lied over the phone about the condition of a 2016 Lunar Caravan, that it was in 'showroom' condition, and then when I travelled 150 mile to see the caravan, which was damaged and dirty, they blamed 'caravanfinder' for using 'stock photos' that I should have read the disclaimer at the bottom of the advertised page. They lied and lied and lied. Don't trust this Company at all, they use 'low' tactics to sell their caravans and di nothing when you complain. I have complained to the Regulator of caravan sales about them, and they have been verbally warned about their practices! Stay well away!
