I have placed multiple orders with Recon Company and there has been a problem every single time. The staff are rude and unreliable. Today I called to check my latest order and was told “we can’t answer, we will call you”—but no one ever called back. The lack of communication, follow-through, and basic customer care is absolutely disgraceful. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
I have ordered a pair of shoes from this website 2023/08/28. The website appears to offer quality items, is available in several languages and offers to ship in Europe.
My experience is on the French version of the website. After paying through Paypal, I was redirected to the website where an error message greeted me to let me know the website experienced an issue and wasn't able to send the confirmation email. This is a little disconcerting after spending several hundreds on a pair of quality shoe, to say the least.
I proceeded to the contact page available through the website to report the issue and receive confirmation that the order was successful. After filling all the fields and submitting the message, I was met with another error, and my message had not been sent.
The next day I reached out to the customer support in Germany by phone. My interlocutor was able to speak German fluently. He was able to confirm that my order had been shipped. However when I let him know about the various issues I had experienced with the websites, it was clear that he had no interest or patience for that and his tone became unpleasant. I doubt that my feedback will be relayed, and that anything will be done about these issues.
My experience with this website has been poor and their practices seem unprofessional on several levels. I cannot recommend.
