Although a choice of colours is offered…
Although a choice of colours is offered when ordering the colour seems to default to red. Perhaps because the company is called Red Gorilla. I had tried to order a blue bin but when I clicked on purchase I realised too late that the page had defaulted back to red. I immediately called the company and the man I spoke to said he then changed the order to blue. However, when it arrived the bin was red after all. So it seems that although there’s a choice you can have any colour as long as it red!

Love Red Gorilla products, this time I bought a long handled poo picking rake to make life a little easier on my back, prongs are strong and robust, very quick delivery and packaged well, so well that I sliced the handle trying to cut the black plastic off which was very annoying 🙄

Repurposed bin lid.
I bought a bin lid not to go on a bin but as a planter for succulents. The planters were £35. My bin lid was £8 . It looks fabulous dug in to the garden.

Sales over functionality
Ordering and delivery is easy, and the variety of products and colours in the range is excellent. Everything looks great. However, since Red Gorilla took over the products from Tubtrugs, products aren't as sturdy or comfortable to use. Handles dig into your hands and they break more easily. The shopping baskets were much better without the holes in the bottom. Before you could put them down on outside on wet concrete without the contents getting wet. Such a shame.

We would like to reassure you that we take the quality of our products very seriously, which is why they are all independently tested for strength and durability, and are constantly reviewed and improved.
Though we are no longer using the brand name Tubtrugs™, as we rebranded to Red Gorilla® in 2018, our manufacturing processes and commitment to quality have not changed, nor have we changed hands or merged with any other companies.
Our Cesto Shopping Tote product was reworked some time ago. The resounding benefit of the Cesto is its breathability and the changes to the base were to improve this, as well as avoiding water pooling in the bottom if used with wet contents. The Cesto Shopping Tote’s handles are pressed with a square edge on the inside of the handle, and we are aware that some people have found this to be uncomfortable, so we are looking into ways to make them more comfortable.

Ordered these for my husband to use at work, he said they are well made and are sturdy and good for the fittings he stores in them. Delivery took over a week so that was quite long and he could of done with them quicker so that's why I have only given 4 stars.

We are pleased your husband is happy with the product but sorry you had to wait a little longer than expected for delivery. Our standard delivery is up to 5 working days, if you include bank holidays and weekends this can be a little longer. For urgent orders, we offer an express delivery service.

unfortunately didnt factor in Easter Break into the order purchase and delivery, (my fault, still waiting for delivery but Evri not the best in my area. However am reassured that the product is on the way and its quality is a given as long term adoptee
