Placed my order, told it would be free shipping within 7 days.
After a couple of days I get a message from DPD stating I have a rather sizable fee to pay for release of my parcel due to import duty. DPD France asked if i still wish to recieve this order they were told no and then sent an email stating the goods were being returned back to the supplier. Still waiting for a refund2 weeks later
How is there import duty on an item ordered in the UK from a UK company you ask?
Well, Turns out that this is a french company pretending to be a UK company. So any orders made from the website will incur this charge.
Very misleading. Very poor business practice.

...... Speedy Service & Delivery. ....... and so far (at least!) the Product is BETTER than the original keys, as provided by the Auto-Garage Doors Supplier.

Very disappointed. The business is not a UK company so don’t be mislead by the .co.uk website. We ordered fobs for the total value including delivery and VAT of £241.43 then a few weeks later after delivery we received import charge notice of £60.19. This should be made CLEAR on your website when ordering, not a few lines in the depths of your T&C’s which most people don’t read in depth. Often the customer has a degree of trust when seeing other positive reviews when paying for a product online and I feel you have broken that trust by not being completely up front with other potential costs and misleading UK customer by using a .co.uk website. This is intentionally targeting the UK market and you know additional costs to your products apply for the UK which you are not making clear.

Update - thanks for the reply to the review above. However your suggestions to reject the package is a bit to late considering the import charge came a few weeks after the fobs had been used on a project. I see you have not taken on board any points in regards to making it clear to customer about the import charges. Simply add a statement to your payment screen before an order is placed considering, as you say, your website are customised based on location… don’t you agree?

Ordered a new remote for our garage door from here, and found the site very easy to negotiate, with some useful advice on what I should be ordering, as my original part had been superseded. It came promptly, which a useful instruction sheet that even I could follow. Would definitely use this company again and would recommend them.

After my order remote control sent me a mail with a tracking number that didn't work. The delivery was taking long so I contacted them saying they gave me a wrong tracking number. The response I got from this company was just the same tracking number and after that they just stopped responding.

Arrived after a week. Posted from EU. Easily programmed the unit which already contained a battery.

The remote control I received didn't work. I phoned a very unhelpful lady in Paris who just told me to return it to Paris which cost £10.00. I've not had a replacement or credit. I would advise anyone to avoid them at all costs.

The remotee control unit arrived promtply and I have excellent response from the company when I had a small problem setting it up.Very helpful indeed.The unit works very well and I would recommend Remote Control Express for this type of purchase.

Quick efficient service. The new remotes arrived as promised and well packaged. The new remote controls, for the gate to my drive, were easy to programme and worked immediately. They have been working now for some months without any issues at all. Overall I am very satisfied with the products and service from Remote Control Express. We had lost a remote or two so this really saved the day as now we have a couple spares as well.

Excellent. Fantastic price with straight forward advice on phone prior to purchase. Delivery timing as per stated (though I had to order 3 remotes instead of stated 2 to get free delivery?). Product has been very easily programmed in 10seconds after checking YouTube video. Highly recommended

We were in urgent need of a new remote control. We had to have it by Saturday. The website of the company promised express delivery, by the latest Friday. I placed the order on Wednesday. We paid £13 for this favour. Well, Friday came and went. I emailed the company (who, on the invoice, are known as Allo Remote Control) that the tracking number can not be found and where is the remote. Monday morning, the tracking number was active but I could see that it was only posted on Friday (probably after my email). I asked the company if I can get my £13 pounds back for the express delivery. their answer was no, that it is the Brexit fee (#eyeroll) and that they do not do express. I went on to the site again and it explicitly say £6.99 for normal delivery and now £18.16 for express. If you are in a hurry, then please don't be fooled by express delivery. It is just more expensive not any quicker.

I'm changing my perception of this company.
I have received my goods today.
So great satisfaction!
I would like to suggest that the company change communication policy.
My fears were based on - no information at any time.
Therefore, I would suggest the company to be much more informative about ordering, delivery and so on.
And do not use silent procedure.

But I have not received receipt for order and shipping.
Trying to contact Remote Control Express via email, but without success.
No telephone number provided.
I think you have to be careful here ……… .. !!
