Over the years my late husband and I have pruchased various appliances from Richer Sounds. On every occasion the staff have been helpful and friendly and we have found no fault with any of the products. My most recebt purchase were Sony earbuds.

Talking to someone who knows the answers or if they are not sure are checking first to make sure what advice they give is correct.

All transactions were done on the telephone with the Plymouth branch. I knew what I wanted so didn’t require advice. All staff spoken to were excellent, understanding and polite so no difficulty. My only problem came with paying , something I do frequently on line. It took three attempts and would seem to be something you should look at. Would I use Richer Sounds Plymouth again, most certainly.

I made an appointment at Richer Sounds in Plymouth to see if I could recapture my love of playing the music I grew up with. I had a Naim QB which was great but missed the stereo sound.
I wanted to get an Amp, streamer and a pair of speakers.
Ben introduced me to Cambridge EXN and EXA with a pair of B&W speakers. These together did not sound good due to the high treble coming from the speakers so they were switched to Kef Q concerto which was a vast improvement. Staying with the speakers we then tried hooking them up with Arcam SA35 streamer which I have to say sounded even better but still lacking depth and roundness in sound. Ben then introduced me to Dali Sonik 5 which I was a little apprehensive about because my living room is not vast and I wasn't sure it was the best move. How wrong I was, it sounded fantastic with the SA35. I then asked to put the Sonik 5's with the EXA and EXN that was the sound I was looking for, fantastic.

I contacted Richer Sounds and was put through to their Plymouth Branch. I wanted to buy a sound system but really wasn't sure what to purchase.

Oana talked me through my options and I ordered an amp with dual speakers along with the relevant cables. Everything arrived within 48 hours and I could not have wished for a better pre and post sale service, even to the extent of an email checking that I was happy with the products after the event.

I would not hesitate to recommend Richer Sounds to anyone.

The Staff are the first point of contact by telephone for me, and I can only say First Class, Service is second to none from beginning to end, again First Class, Fantastic Team, It is a pleasure to deal with Richer Sounds.

Paid for an EverSolo T8 Network Streamer which was awaiting stock. Kept well informed until it was ready for collection. Have bought most of my equipment from them and will continue to do so. Customer service as it should be.

The assistant that served me, Oana, was incredibly helpful and is a real credit to your Plymouth store team.

I was pleased to be able to audition a new amplifier at home with the option of a return and refund within two weeks. However, when I asked for the price match to be honoured I was told despite the exact same product being available at £100 cheaper elsewhere it wasn’t eligible because it didn’t have the same warranty period offered by Richer Sounds, so I think the price match offer by RS is quite deceptive.
I was given a £30 discount which helped sweeten the pill somewhat.
