I was looking to up date my current set up to enable me to take pictures of the night sky. I emailed RVO and the advice given was excellent, helpful and free coming.
Following that I placed an order on the Friday evening, with an expectation of receiving my new purchase on Tuesday, only for them to turn up on Sunday!!
Overall a great experience and a well deserved 5 star rating.

I ordered a SeeStar S30 Pro, a tripod and mount at 2pm on Saturday afternoon and received them today at 10am. It was really well packed and everything was in order.

This is the first time I've used Rother Valley Optics, I'm very impressed with the service they have provided. It seem like the only thing they can't help you with is clear skies.

If you need anything to do with astronomy or Optics, I would most definitely recommend that you give Adam and his team a call.

I just was looking for a special rare astro camera. But in Germany, the delivery service takes about four months. Thats why i was crossing the border on internet to UK and i hot it immediately: perfect and super fast service by Rother Valley Optics. Even the handling with UK and German export/import taxes was super easy. And after 4 days i already got my product from UK. This is what i name: perfect customer service. Thank you so much 👍

I’ve nothing but praise for Rother Valley Optics. From the first contact to receiving my NL Pure binoculars, the service was first class. The price, communication, speed of delivery were fantastic (I ordered the binoculars on a Tuesday afternoon around 4pm and received them on Thursday morning at 9.15am - and delivery was free) My binoculars were well packaged and protected too.

The order arrived the very next day via DPD courier and was extremely well packaged, ensuring everything arrived safely and securely.

The newer ZWO 30mm f/5 guide scope appears to be a noticeable improvement over the older 30mm f/4 version. The ASIAIR was updated and tested without any issues and is working perfectly.

I knew which tripod The SkyWalker Adventurer tripod which they confirmed would be a good tripod. OK, everyone knows that the guys at RVO are all extremely helpful and friendly, as they are, period, but the reason I am doing a review relates to my purchase. I am in my 70's having had a couple of telescopes in the past, 120 refractor, 150 reflector, both have gone but still I have the itch. Did my research and travelled to RVO to view my intended. I was introduced to the RVO Horizon 250 Dobsonian. I'd not heard of this brand. After only a couple of minutes I'd bought one, why? I intended the Sky-Watcher 250. The RVO is around £80 more, so what do you get for the extra cash. First and foremost there is a ball brace and roller bearings on the turn table, brilliant and smooth. A battery operated tube fan. A 90 degree eye piece on the spotting scope (a must). The clutch mechanism on the axis pivot is a couple of full sized nobs one on each side, not a simple screw handle on one side of the cradle. A dual speed Crayford focuser. A smart phone bracket and holder (that's £20+ on Amazon). And finally you get not 2 but 3 eyepieces. What I am trying to convey is that for around £80, you get all the little necessary extras that make a decent telescope excellent and exactly what you need. I can't comment on the optics, no expertise or comparisons, but I'm happy. Finally if you're after a 200 or 250 Dobby, seriously...... consider the Horizon.
