I had an excellent experience buying from RRG Skoda in Bolton. Phil was fantastic throughout—very approachable and clearly an expert on the brand. He was brilliant to deal with and made the process even smoother.
The dealership itself is pristine, and the cars are prepared to a very high standard. We were able to agree on a fair deal and arrange a handover on a flexible timeline that worked for us. We are incredibly happy with the service and would highly recommend the whole team at RRG!"

Extremely Poor Communication and Customer Service – Avoid
I placed an order with RRG Omoda Oldham and was advised the delivery would take around 12 weeks. After placing the order, the communication completely disappeared. There were no proactive updates at all.
Every time I called to chase the order, the customer service was disappointing. It becomes very clear that once they have your money, you’re no longer a priority. I was told someone would call me back — it took three days, and only because I chased again.
Two weeks later, still no update on the car. I asked for the VIN so I could follow up directly with the manufacturer, but even 14 weeks after ordering, they still couldn’t provide it.
The information you get depends entirely on who you speak to and when. Morning call: “expect it in May.” Call back an hour later: “it’s on track.” Afternoon call: “mid-April.” They genuinely seem to have no idea what’s going on.
Overall, the experience has been frustrating and unprofessional. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere — this dealership has shown itself to be completely inept.

Failure to Refund Deposit
Failure to Refund Deposit.
So interested in buying a Tesla from this company and engaged in discussions with a dealer representative. Ultimately decided to not go ahead, having put down a £99 deposit to reserve car.
Rep was helpful.
Then the fun started.
Repeated text messages - which had previously been responded to quickly - literally no answer.
Ultimately had to contact the bank to query the transaction and request a refund.
Should not have to do this with a main dealer.
Really poor.

Nothing less than excellent.
We have bought over 100 cars over many years, but this was our first visit to RRG Skoda Rochdale. Having been to Arnold Clark and left unimpressed, this was a refreshing change. We were dealt with by Paula House, who informs and helps, rather than a hard sell. Excellent manner and very knowledgeable. Trade in was fair and actually better than Arnold Clark. Well worth a visit.

I had such a great experience with Škoda Rochdale and couldn’t recommend them enough.
A special thank you to Gordon Millet who looked after me from start to finish. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly knew exactly what he was talking about, which made the whole process feel really easy.
The test drive was really good too, Gordon made sure we properly experienced the car so I could decide if it was right for me. Communication throughout was also really good, especially over email, and everything was explained clearly with full transparency.
Overall, such an easy, smooth, and genuinely enjoyable experience. I’d highly recommend Škoda Rochdale to anyone looking for a new car!

After Sales Service gone walkabout
Purchased a used C-HR and was very pleased with the sales team. That's where the good part finishes. After sales service is shocking, no response to emails, not returning telephone calls. Over a span of three weeks I've tried to get a problem resolved without success. Avoid.

Great service from Lukas at RRG Bolton
We've just picked up our new to us Kodiaq from RRG Bolton and are more than satisfied with the service they've supplied.
I made an initial enquiry by email late on a Sunday afternoon and within minutes I received a reply answering my question from Lukas. He then followed up shortly afterwards with a video review of the car I was interested in and we arranged for me to view and test drive the car the following day.
We ended up opting for a different car due to personal preference and Lukas was very accommodating answering all of our questions and showing us around the car before taking a test drive.
He promptly replied to all of my further queries about putting my plate on retention, how to arrange road tax etc.
On collection day he let me thoroughly inspect the car and answered any remaining questions before finalising the deal. He demonstrated all of the controls and key settings before we drove off.
Being a two hour drive from the dealership, we most likely won't purchase from them again, but I don't hesitate to thoroughly recommend Lukas and the dealership to others looking to purchase

BEWARE, RRG SKODA ROCHDALE HAS A PROBLEM WITH ITS VEHICLES AND ITS STAFF
Skoda Kodiaq 1.5 TSI SE L 5Dr bought from RRG Skoda Rochdale in Feb 2019. This car has a full-service history carried out at RRG Skoda Rochdale. The last MOT and full service was done on 19/11/2025 at a cost of £438.85, mileage recorded as 9232.
On 23/12/2025, the car broke down, suspected clutch problem, and was delivered to Skoda Rochdale on the back of a breakdown truck. As a result, Skoda Rochdale supposedly conducted a full investigation and ran diagnostic checks including test drives. (Yet no mileage difference shown on report.) Cost £120.00 plus a further £25 taxi cost to pick the car up as insufficient staff to deliver it back – despite my offering to pay … No fault found. Advised that we did not drive it enough.
On 18/03/2026, the exact same breakdown happened, this time at a busy junction, causing traffic chaos and putting me and my family in a very dangerous position. No longer trusting Skoda Rochdale, I had the breakdown company deliver the car to Skoda Bolton who, within half an hour of receiving it, identified the possible faults: slave cylinder/master cylinder/gearbox. Informed of a possible £3,000 bill, depending on their findings.
I have today spoken to Skoda head office, who directed my complaint back to Skoda Rochdale. A woman named Helen, who was clearly very practised in deflecting complaints, told me that there was nothing wrong with the car the first time round, despite it having been delivered to them on the back of a breakdown truck, and that I was being very unfair to blame their technicians for not discovering the fault.
Helen was dismissive and condescending throughout our conversation – and she barely took a breath in an effort to mask a genuine complaint.
After reading numerous similar negative Trustpilot reviews, it is clear that Skoda vehicles have a problem – not only with their clutch/gearboxes but also the attitude of their staff.
The only positive thing to come out of this debacle is that my next new car will NOT be a Skoda.
