Great event! Toughest half marathon I’ve ever ran. Well organised- clear signposts on route, free parking, lots of toilets at start. Would highly recommend if you want to test yourself. Puts a sub 2 on another level.

Dirty Nocka 6 hours MTB pairs.
Well organised event. Knew what was happening and when.
The course was just about right with nothing to technical.
The only thing I would change is the position of the transition area, too far away from the start/finish line.
Would definitely do another.

Really well organised trail run. Great course and well marked out. It had a really nice friendly atmosphere. Tough in parts but that’s all part of the fun and probably loved it more for that reason. Can’t wait for the next running event they do!

Really well planned event, the route was great. Lots of helpful and supportive staff and marshals. The 'hub' had a lot of fun stuff going on (also plenty of loo's which is always important!)

Dirty Nocka endurance mountain bike event. Great event, venue, course and atmosphere. Criticism - transition area was too far from the start/finish (timing mat), probably 1/4 of the total lap distance. This meant that in the pairs timing, the first part of any lap was potentially ridden by the other rider. Also the start/finish was immediately on entering the arena, so any potential sprints were only about 20m long. Far better to have a couple of 100m straights with a 180deg turn to spice things up if two riders were racing each other.

Cannock Chase Half Trail Marathon was one of the best race experiences I've had. Plenty of car parking, room for camping, well laid out arena. Food and drink available. Brilliant course (not for the faint hearted). Excellent family/friendly atmosphere.

Challenging course and well organised although the first few miles were a struggle due to the route taken and volume of starters, this was a similar problem to the last one. However the course is great, well signposted and with plenty of feed stations. Great fun and an enjoyable challenge.

I tried to defer my entry to this race and I contacted the race organiser on 9th Sept - he replied telling me I had to do it via racespace. I contacted racespace as I couldn't work out how to defer. Race space said that the race organiser hadn't allowed this option. I went back to the race organiser who didn't reply until after the 2 week cut off. He then did reply and told me I was too late. I pointed out that I had tried to do this earlier and I have had no response. I rang Run and Ride several times and I kept getting told the organiser wasn't available. I am not the only person that has had this problem as it turns out. As a race organiser myself of a large 10k road race i find this unacceptable. A road race carries lots of expense but it still makes a profit and we can offer deferrals why can't this race and why be so difficult about it. Why not just be honest! It is the lack of honesty that is bothersome. Sadly I won't be entering a run and ride event again and I won't be encouraging the athletes I coach to, either.
As can be seen from the response below they aren't great. I tried to cancel/defer my race BEFORE the 2 week cut off but couldn't. How many times do I need to point this out?

Brilliant event, well organised, lot of thought put into the route. Tough but enjoyable route. Friendly organisers. Only negative would be plastic cups to ask runners to carry their own refillable cup. Will be back next year.

Well organised and great atmosphere. Trail route just a nice mix of ups and downs.
Only issues for me is the use of plastic cups and bottle at check points and at the end.
Consider this being a cup/plastic free race? Lots of other trail races are already doing this - get runners to carry their own little cup for a drink at checkpoints?
Other than that - I will be back next year and thank you for organising.

Ran the Cannock Chase Half Trail Marathon on the 26th Sept. Well organised, friendly, fantastic but tough route. We will definitely be back next year.

Ran the Cannock Chase half train marathon in September 2021 and the event was brilliant.

The organisation was excellent and the course was very challenging and interesting.

It can’t be easy setting up events like this and the team aced it

Great customer service.
Super friendly staff with wealth of knowledge and easy to talk with.
Excellent range of products and bikes (even at this time post Brexit and covid).
Laid back attitude compared to some shops I've been into, no pressure to buy anything but happy to chat and offer advice.
Always been pleased with how my bike feels after being in the workshop.
Being open on a Sunday is a bonus too!

Never used run and ride before, I looked at the reviews and all seemed OK. Easy process delivery was quite long but this was portrayed as you ordered. Really happy with the price and info they even sent me a free cover that was supposed to be in the deal after a quick phone call excellent service will use again.

The service was good and it arrived quickly, but the box the item was in had clearly been opened and the item taken out. This was disappointing.

Fast delivery easy site to use. Trainers didn’t suit my foot so unfortunately had to return . Fast refund

Ordered of the website which was really easy. Delivery was faster than anticipated and the product lived up to expectation. Would definitely use again! Bought the Hokas for my brother and he loves them so much I may treat myself!
