An excellent talk with Richard made getting the right width of shoes easy, he explained subtle shoes characteristics that just do not show up in the size chart, which would have left me buying the wrong size/width of Lake MX333

Quick service from Salt Dog Cycling and a good product, I am particularly pleased as I find most cycling shoes too narrow a fit, but these Lake shoes seem to be just right. I rather like the colour of them as well.

Great experience getting fitted for shoes. The staff clearly knew what they were doing and took the time to get it right. Much better than other shops I’ve used in the past.

I initially bought the wrong size based on my old shoes form another shop, but the return was handled smoothly and they talked me through everything without any hassle.

Overall, excellent customer service. There are plenty of bike shops out there, but if you want proper advice and support, I’d recommend these guys.

I called and spoke to Richard for sizing advice for some Lake gravel shoes as I already own a pair of Lake Road shoes. His advice was spot on, advising on the different options. I eventually opted for Lake mx333 and am very pleased with the shoes - super comfy and I feel a huge difference compared to what I had before. Delivery was prompt and price was the best I could find. Richard had a large stock of shoes and he went through the various options and on purchasing he moulded the heel section of the shoe specifically to accommodate my feet. I could not fault the service he provided and would recommend to anyone wanting a bespoke service and at a very competitive price.
