My boyfriend took me and my son and his …
My boyfriend took me and my son and his daughter rafting. Needless to say it was a first time experience for all of us. It was at the end of the season so the water was very cold to say the least. But it was a great experience. Our two guides were very nice to us and we felt very safe and comfortable with them. They were very knowledgeable about the nature around us. I would definitely go again.

Crew was friendly and very informative on safety procedures, they New the river very well , however the food was gross and disappointing, the rapids were no were near what they show online or what they explain on what to expect , over all fun but defenitly more of a $45- $50 dollar price on what they should charge

Most people rave about our hot fajita lunch. Sorry you were disappointed. Putting together a freshly cooked meal during a full day trip 45 miles from the nearest town in the middle of the desert does have some challenges. I'm not sure when you came, but conditions vary from enormous waves to tight rocky technical moves. Some folks prefer big water, some prefer the technical challenge of lower flows. Our prices are competitive and the added cost due to the $20 per person Apache Land Fee and the $3,000 per season licensing fee does add costs that other rivers don't have. Setting up and tearing down on the Apache Reservation each year also adds costs that other rivers don't have. Costs on the Salt are certainly higher than our other rivers. We think it is totally worth it!
It was a truly fantastic experience
It was a truly fantastic experience. Guides were knowledgeable, safety conscious, professional, and made our trip truly enjoyable. Will go again and recommend it to anyone who has the chance to experience white water rafting.

Bummer the snow didn't fall this year (2018) in Arizona. White snow turns to white water. Hoping for better conditions in 2018.
10 ten experience!!
My experience Rafting with this company was incredible!! They were efficient, polite, safety conscious and an all around good time! The guide was very knowledgeable and brought the canyon to life by pointing out plants, rock formations and telling stories about the stretch of river we were on between rapids! I would highly recommend this company and have referred friends to them for this coming season!

Great trips, great people!
I have taken several raft trips with Wilderness Aware in Colorado and, most recently, Arizona. The company is well organized with high quality equipment and, most importantly, excellent guides and staff. I would strongly recommend Wilderness Aware.
