the young assistant listened to our requirements and we found what we were looking for, the assistant still showed us other items around the store. Telling us to look upstairs she then arrives saying we have these. At that moment we feel we were over loaded with so many options of style.Eventually we settled on the one we found and all processed efficiently on the sale. Only downside is the length of time for estimated delivery.

During our visit staff found the perfect balance of attention but without being overbearing or pushy.
We were welcomed to the store and allowed to browse without interference, but someone was also close by to help if we needed.
The store was very clean and didn’t smell like a furniture store, and had a wonderful relaxed but homely feel.
Once we were ready we were served by Zoe who sat with us on our chosen sofa to discuss options, and it was like chatting to an old friend. Zoe was professional and courteous throughout, but laid back and real; so it wasn’t at all like being bombarded by a sales person.
She allowed us plenty of room to discuss options, and set up the sale seamlessly, taking us step by step through the process.
From start to finish the whole process and experience was pleasant and relaxed from the moment we entered to the time we left.

The furniture was delivered on the 21 the 2 guys were great only problem was we asked for a dismantle so they had to take it away now waiting for the item to be redelivered .sitting on camping chairs for 4 days does wonder for the back NOT

We always research customer reviews before any major purchase and thought they seemed a little generous to poltronesofa.......not at all! Our whole experience was indeed exceptional.
We were able to freely browse and take our time to find and select the ideal power recliner (Torriana) and then make the purchase with the cheerful and knowledgeable help of Kerry and Paul. Because the item was in stock Kerry was able to there and then arrange delivery and assembly by Albon just two days later. Zowy too answered my telephone query enthusiastically and effortlessly on delivery day.
Despite encountering heavy traffic on the day Albon kept in touch and still made the delivery albeit early evening.
Well done you guys... we speak as we find....your team really does deserve these excellent reviews!!

The sales lady was really helpful and knowledgeable.
A delivery date was give,a bit longer then we would like but that's life. Still waiting for more information on delivery other wise rating would have been 5 out of 5

Showroom and staff excellent. Order taken swiftly but took 4 months to arrive! Delivery on time with notice given. Furniture assembled efficiently, staff were helpful and polite. They tested everything and told my Husband how it all worked. We would recommend you and purchase from you again.

Quality sofa I like all but communication not good after ordering sofa try to cancel one of single unit went to shop in tollgate Menager wast there they took not about it Menager spouse to call me back let me know if I could cancel or not didn’t get contact didn’t like the service u should chose professional people they not welcoming as well only Zelda was very good with customer service unfortunately she was on holiday when I order sofa

I haven't recieved delivery of my sofa yet - so I can't speak to the quality or delivery experience. But my in-store experience was perfect. I visited twice, once with a friend to look around and the second time with the intention to purchase. Kerry welcomed us both times and was extremely helpful and friendly, knowledgeable and attentive - without being pushy. The process to order was efficient and informative without feeling rushed and very simple to follow. I'm very excited to recieve the sofa in October.

Shop staff at Colchester Tollgate were helpful, if sometimes hard to find !

The quality of the sofa's was excellent and Zelda was very helpful with information. We were not pushed to buy and no rushing, in fact we spent a couple of hours going back and forth eliminating down to 3 then 2. As my wife like one and I liked the other we had one of each in the same colour with the reclining features we liked. A good experience, thanks Zelda.
Only minor irritation is that the website has a problem preventing me to register for an account which I'm sure will be fixed soonest.
