The 2 guys that delivered our sofa were very professional & very caring how they bought the sofa in & checked it over before leaving, very happy.

The staff member was very helpful and knowledgeable about the sofa and didn’t try to push the sale and as it was a very hot day we were offered bottles of water.

We purchased 1 sofa earlier this year.
Which was made is Scotland. We also had 2, 2 setter recliners which came from Italy these were a lot longer deliver time.
The delivery men on both occasions were amazing! Extremely polite friendly, very presentable kept us up to date on the day about the time they would be with us. We could also track on our phone where they were. Highly recommend Poltronesofa at SCS the staff there are incredible so knowledgeable, friendly.

The aroma in the store is like a spa! So nice. We do feel awkward being approached in furniture stores, but the lady was nice enough. I do feel it would be beneficial to include sizes next to the sofas instead of having to physically measure them. We were made to feel welcome and helped with our purchase. Zelda was our member of staff who was very knowledgable and helpful.

Good Quality stuff ,great service, great prices, hope to shop there again soon.

We went to the Colchester store. Zelda was absolutely brilliant. She was patient and very helpful while we took quite a long time deciding on our colour match for our existing sofa. She didn’t rush us at all..

The information about the delivery schedule and times was good. the driver kept me informed of progress. All the crew were polite and very efficient.

Great customer service in the store when I was choosing my sofa and delivered and set up without a hitch. Beautiful sofa and very happy with it. Now waiting for the sales again so I can purchase the matching 2 seater!

Excellent service

Our sofa and armchair were delivered on 2 May 2026 as agreed. The Glides (28) were not brought and the order just said “Empty” the Delivery men didn’t seem to know anything about it. I telephoned the store, Colchester on the 5 May 2026 and was told they would get the distribution Center Basildon to send these to us. Nothing received 18 May 2026 telephoned Colchester again was told that the Glides had been dispatched on 12 May 2026, but no explanation as to why so long and I just have to wait to receive them. 22 May 2026 spoke to Sunderland Customer Service, they checked with the distribution centre Basildon the Glides have not been dispatched were packed on 12 May 2026, will post them on 26 May 2026. When I asked why they could be dispatched on 22 May 2026 there was no explanation. It is difficult to believe what we are being told. Our order for these items clearly shows as not delivered, but no one at SCS seems to be doing anything about these. If I didn’t keep calling, they would just keep the money and ignore it. We had a new floor fitted before the furniture arrived and was sold these Glides on the basis that they would protect the floor. Our experience of SCS Customers Service is that it doesn’t exist which means we would not recommend them to anyone. Reading the reviews it suggests others have also found Customer Service wanting. Who knows if we will ever receive the Glides!!

The local store contact was excellent when i phoned they updated and knew all the answers i asked . And very pleased with delivery and sofas.

Delivered in time slot with constant updates, Quite tight getting round one corner but delivery guys where great. well done all round.

We were greeted by Zelda at the Colchester Tollgate branch who made us feel very comfortable and at ease. Zelda was amazing from start to finish. She gave us enough space to browse, gave some guidance, direction and advice then left us to it, which was a perfect balance. We loved a certain fabric, however with pets,children, babies etc, Zelda showed us all fabrics and advised which would potentially be the best. We liked various selections and we were advised we could have whatever furniture in whatever fabric all matching if we wanted.
We left the shop and returned after feeling very welcomed by her and all the staff.a coffee and 3.58k spent later we left with confidence and transparency from the shop and Zelda.
