Installation was all fine and people we met were all pleasant. The alarm failed after about a month in, from that point it’s been calling them, escalating the issue, being promised calls back (they never happen) and then being promised an engineer visit will be arranged.
I’ve never used them before but they have a local address so I thought I’d give them a try and k honestly wish I’d stuck with Banhams.

We’ve recently installed a brand new alarm system in our fully refurbished house. The system has not worked properly at all with multiple faults and constant tripping. Absolute shambles

The SDS engineer arrived on time, worked studiously and was very tidy/polite. He explained the upgraded system and demonstrated it. Subsequently I have received good back up from the SDS office.

Ola has been incredibly helpful resolving any problems I’ve had.
I was slightly surprised when I received a bill when cancelling my service when selling the house though

SDS have proved their reliability and professional expertise for near;y 20 years so I have no hesitation in recommending them. Either on the phone or in person their customer service is excellent.

SDS's technical support of my intruder alarm system has always been good. For this year's annual maintenance visit Ricardo, the service engineer, arrived within the slotted time, put covers on his shoes when he came in and carried out the checks very efficiently. I was emailed the visit report the next working day.

SDS s engineer Tomasz is always understanding by taking his shoes off, ensures everything is perfect before leaving . His service is impressive. Changed all the batteries to ensure system is working to SDS standard.
Also Lucy at the office kind and always willing to help with my queries.

I rang Anna about needing a replacement battery and she organised a full service and battery replacement within a few hours. The technician was prompt and did a good job.

Good service and well priced from local company. Been using them for 8 years.

We have always been pleased with the service from SDS for our alarm system. Recently we had an issue with our wifi, and the alarm controller wasn’t able to reconnect to the wifi. SDS were brilliant; within five minutes of me calling them, an engineer called me back and patiently talked me through the reconnection process over the phone.

Very helpful. made resetting App to day for the Alarm simple.

We have been a customer of SDS Security for many years... there service response is excellent and the maintenance of our alarm system has always been first class. We recently had a minor problem with a window sensor and I have to say SDS went out of their way to respond quickly and have a service technician attend and sort the issues. Highly recommended to anyone looking to install or contract for remote alarm monitoring.

I telephoned to arrange a service for our alarm. The phone was answered quickly and an appointment was organised very efficiently by receptionist who was very courteous when I had another call to answer at the same time !

The engineer who came today (Gary) knows my alarm systems like the back of his hand and is always smiling and happy to help

We requested a site visit to update our alarm and install a CCTV system, this was arranged speedily and efficiently. Problems within our house were solved with a really “can do” approach. Our diary difficulties were overcome by the SDS team. Great installation. Very happy clients.

I got SDS to fit an electric door release and they were brilliant. The new release works great but above and beyond that, they hid all the cabling, filled in the holes and even swept up the dust afterwards. I top notch job and I can't recommend them highly enough.
