Human answered question that AI couldn't
I had a simple question which the AI bot couldn't answer and it was quickly passed on to a real human being who answered very promptly despite it being over the Christmas break.

When my order did not arrive
When my order did not arrive, and I had no further tracking updates, I contacted the Help Desk. The response was immediate, even though AI. However, the follow up from Emily, customer service team, was prompt and they immediately addressed my concerns. My original shipment appeared lost and an offer of a refund or replacement was given. With their reputation for quality products and exceptional service I requested a replacement. Looking forward to getting my mittens!

They are the best slippers I’ve ever had apart from 1 fault that went wrong but I was offered resolutions and they were implemented quickly so I can’t complain and happy with it

Low quality products. Save your money.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with this company. I got their waterproof Gressenhall beanie. Their "trademarked waterproof technology" is, in practice, a non-breathable plastic insert (you can see a picture of it on my G maps review). Yes, you read that right, they literally just add a piece of plastic between the tissue and call this "waterproof technology". This design flaw leads to trapped moisture in your scalp and the associated risks.
Furthermore, I found the "return" process highly questionable. Being asked to destroy the item to avoid shipping costs suggests the product has a negligible manufacturing value (whilst they resell it very expensively).
This is a low-quality product. Save your money.
EDIT response to their message: as you invited me to destroy the item, you can clearly see that the "membrane" is indeed just a mere plastic film. You can see it clearly on my G maps review.

Please note, our Support Team will only ever ask that a product be destroyed if there is a fault with the item or if the product is used and we are making a goodwill exception, as we cannot accept returns of used goods.
Additionally, our waterproof technology may sound like a plastic insert when putting the beanie on, however we can assure you this is a waterproof membrane which does allow for breathability. It is designed to allow for perspiration to pass through whilst keeping water from getting in.
We apologise again for any discomfort or disappointment with the beanie. We are happy to assist if you would like to discuss our products or policies further with our team.

Problem was remedied quickly
There was a problem with my address-we have to have a PO Box. The delivery could not be made here so was returned. I provided a different address and the items were delivered before Christmas. The company was very responsive to emails which was appreciated.

Excellent customer service during a holiday
I reached out to Sealskinz when my gift was not delivered. It was just before Christmas and I was not expecting a response until after the holiday. But they reached out to me immediately, checked on the delivery, provided photos, and realized the item was delivered by the local carrier to the incorrect address. Although my gift was not delivered, I appreciated the excellent customer service during a holiday and received a prompt refund.

Great service
I had an issue with my order which had gone out of stock between order and delivery and was due to be a Christmas present. I emailed the helpdesk and received great communication back from Sophie who was able to respond with my options and resend a substitute item for me all within the same day. Sealskinz makes a great product and offers excellent customer service.
Sealskinz makes a great product that is protective in bad weather including heavy rain, high winds, and blowing snow.
Customer Care is excellent. It is polite, responsive, and solution oriented.
There was an error in shipping and with one phone call the matter was dealt with immediately. I received expedited shipping and the shipping fees were refunded. It was a very satisfactory outcome.

You'll never have customer service like this again.
My package was delivered to wrong address. No fault of SealSkinz. I got in contact and they immediately started digging into the matter, found out that the package had gone back to their warehouse and have sent it back out to me. They kept me in the loop the entire time and have nothing but fantastic. I haven't even tried their products yet but going off their customer service alone, I am a customer for life.
