A friend gave me an old 1950s valve radio receiver he came across during a family loft clearance, and needless to say, having been loft bound for decades requires some tender loving care to get it working. They had a copy of the exact original service manual with schematic, component lists, circuit explanation and other valuable repair maintenance advice, all for £1.99 for the download version, an absolute bargain. There were 10 pages of comprehensive information including photos and desriptive explanations, even how to release the chassis which I had previously been uncertain about. I fully recommend them.
