Had 2 skips in a week
Had 2 skips in a week, 1 for the renoval of my old house, 1 for my new house. The guy that delivered mine yesterday was really friendly and went over and beyond to put it in the right place. I only use this company now as they are so efficient, comunication and customer service gals are great and friendly too

Efficient and friendly service
Extremely efficient and friendly service. The online site was easy to use, the customer services team were helpful and friendly (Customer Services Rep: Vicky) and the driver who delivered the skip was friendly and efficient.

Excellent company to deal with
Excellent company to deal with. The skip was delivered on time and with meticulous care. They even managed to supply a covered skip as desired. Being using the skip for 7 of the 14 days so far. I suspect the retrieval of the skip in 7 days will be just as easy an experience. Highly recommended.

Skip arrived with a significant hole
Skip arrived with a significant hole, the size of a large dinner plate, in the base and weak metal surrounding it. The skip was to be filled with soil and hardcore. We immediately informed Skiphire who apologised, but left us with the skip and said they would ask the driver to be careful on its removal. We had to find some boards to bridge the hole and ended up bagging the soil, which took a lot more time and effort, as we feared the base would give way on its removal.

We apologise that you were unhappy with the skip that arrived to site. Whilst we acknowledge that skips do not always look perfect due to the continuous use of them, it was inconvenient when you required the skip for loose waste having a hole in the bottom.
Within your email, we had been made aware you had already boarded the skip to use so assumed that you were happy to continue as you'd found a solution to plug the hole - and said the driver had reassured you the skip would hold the weight.
Your photo was sent to the depot to double check, they also agreed the skip would hold and they'd be careful on collection but also would take any liability for cleaning up should it have broken. The skip was collected safely.
