Without hesitation would I recommend Slide or Fold. We were looking for Schuco windows and doors and Slide or Fold were extremely competitive in terms of pricing, and their customer service has been outstanding.

A big thanks to Natasha who answered all of my questions (and there were a lot!) speedily and accurately.

Being in London wasn't an issue for Slide or Fold to supply or install our units, and when there was a slight hiccup with the position of a cut out in the glass for a dog door, Slide or Fold organised replacement immediately.

Our windows and doors are now installed and are working perfectly and look great. We absolutely love them!

Anyone who is looking for a supplier of Schuco windows and doors - don't hesitate to use this company.

So..., we’re nearing the end of a year-long house renovation and I’ve purposefully left this review to last.

Given that I’ve dealt with multiple suppliers of late I’m suitably positioned to benchmark their professionalism, product quality, value, responsiveness etc. And it seems, I’ve left the best to last! Living in London I was dubious about appointing a company based so far away to undertake a material part of the rebuild, but I needn’t have worried. Making the necessary trips to London was never too much trouble and Alun, Dave and the team were always positive, friendly, courteous and ready to offer top-tips. But my highest praise has to go to Natasha who, in particular, is a great ambassador for what is clearly a very well-run company - she’s friendly yet professional, knowledgeable and very responsive. She made the process a pleasure from start to finish and, if you haven’t done so already, you should really think about a deserved promotion Alun, as and when the opportunity arises ;-)

The service from Slide or Fold up to initial delivery was excellent, particularly Natasha's helpfulness and really positive approach. There was a hiccup on the delivery day - understandable in part but I have to say that some of the workmanship was pretty disappointing. Despite that, Slide or Fold responded well and returned within a week to rectify and complete the installation which I was happy with.

We would not hesitate to recommended slide or fold. The customer service, advice, delivery dates, and our bi folding doors are all excellent. We are very happy customers!

I wanted to document the excellent experience I have had with SlideorFold in relation to the purchase of my bifold doors.

Living in London I was initially hesitant to purchase my bifold doors from companies outside of the city, but any reservations were quickly addressed by SlideorFold (Natasha). I had plenty of questions about the product (window composition, colours, window quality etc) and found that these queries were addressed within a very small space of time which raised my level of confidence. I also opted for SlideorFold to install the bifolds at extra cost, which I highly recommend as installation was swift and of a very high standard by installers who know the product! I was also impressed with the fact that the installers travelled some distance to undertake the installation works and don’t just provide a local service.

I am pleased with all aspects of the service and my experience to date, with much of the credit going to the wonderful Natasha who was available via phone or email to address any queries that I had.

In summary, my bifold doors are competitively priced, look stunning, good quality, professionally installed and all this wrapped with a great customer service. Well done SlideorFold for ticking all the boxes and an excellent overall customer experience!

Our Eco.new build has some seriously large sliding doors and windows with complex paint finish plus glass to glass corner details : the glazing elements from Slideorfold total around £25,000 . Our design is a real challenge for any window company and we reviewed over 8 different suppliers before we selected Schuko from Slideorfold in West Bromwich. Andy MD ,has many years of experience and I was re-assured during his site visit due to his extensive knowledge and attention to detail. I respect him and therefore his company .Their service has been well organised by Natasha who is not only intelligent but is always bright and cheerful .Alun has been helpful ,giving us some useful tips to save us money and improve the quality of our build . Alun and Natasha are a good team and always keep the client informed .Dave the surveyor was actually really thoughtful in providing some practical ideas on how to achieve the finish we required between the floor screed and the Schuko door thresholds and this gave us more confidence in their ability.Delivery wise they have adhered to the original promises and this is often a challenge as our build itself is quite complex and has had some delays which could have affected their fitting. They have been honest,sensible and reasonable regarding payment terms . In conclusion we have enjoyed working with them on this complex project and we have already recommended them to others....we will use them on our next project,without hesitation.

We ordered replacement windows as well as new doors, floor to ceiling windows and bifolds through Slide and Fold earlier this year. My husband and I visited them before making the final decision to go ahead. The owner Andy discussed what would work well with our plans, answering all our questions and offering suggestions. The price was really competitive but it was their exceptional customer service which made us decide to go with them. Natasha and Alun have been brilliant, always willing to answer questions with a smile and make innumerable changes. Jason, the fitter was again a credit to the company and went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wishing to purchase Schuco windows.

I placed a £27000 order with the company for bi-folding doors and replacement doors and windows throughout with Schuco products.
Slide or fold may seem cheaper to start with but you don't get something for nothing.
That saving will come later and you will pay with customer service, after sales service and finishes.
I got hinges that are not branded as Schuco but, Cotswold company.
The installation required trims to tidy up the shocking, inadequate and utterly disgusting seal that was applied between the walls and the Windows, I had to fight so hard to get them when they came they were plastic ones spray painted to match the Windows as opposed to the aluminium ones we were supposed to get and only provided enough to do 1 bay window and nothing for the bay window directly above it!
We got our builder to rush to the shops buy some and then Dave the window guy said he would only cut them and put them in place he would not seal them, our builder would have to do that.
We had a whole day of installation left when it started to rain so the fitters said they would come back to seal all the Windows and doors in.
The day he returned, as soon as Dave came he was agitated and just wanted to go home.
He kept telling me sealing the Windows was the decorators job not his.
In the end I got him to seal a couple of bathroom Windows which still have huge gaps in some places but I just could not bear to let him carry on.
We had extremely large window openings, when the surveyor Dave came to site with Andrew the boss they listed those to include restrictors but,
When the Windows arrived only 1 had a restrictor leaving us requiring 5 more before the building inspector would pass the job.
Slide or fold slapped a £150 + vat on me.
The most appalling thing of all was being such a high value order both us and Slide or fold came up with a stage payment agreement which we adhered to but, after the first stage of installations and payments cleared they totally went against their word and started demanding the second payment upfront in advance.
Natasha had been the one to negotiate the payment terms who then changed her tune to saying she only works for the company.
Alun in the office seems to be the one making all the decisions, he is extremely rude and needs some training in customer services.
We had a whole house renovation two double storey extextentions side and back and the worst and most stressful part of the build has been dealing with this company.
They took 5 months to complete installation.
ALL THEY ARE INTERESTED IN IS THE MONEY.
We did not pay the remaining £500 as we had to hire a skip to dispose of the old Windows which they did not do as promised and they also said our Windows and doors are not covered by any gaurentee.
We also had to hire a professional sealant company to seal the Windows and doors properly.

RESPONSE
In response to slide or folds reply I would say only, please refrain from lying as the window boards were always part of the job from the start as agreed by the boss Andrew.
I have not asked for free items as you claim and on the last day I was distraught on the phone to Natasha appealing to her for a satisfactory seal or trims to finish the job but she would not listen to me or my builder regarding how awful the seals were looking but, only Dave from the company who said everything was fine despite all the photographic evidence I had previously sent.
If we can pay £26500 then we can also pay £500.
My husband did not disappear, he asked for gaurentee paper work and the skip money to be sorted before final payment when Natasha said no paperwork would be provided on the day, we would have to make full payment upfront first. While discussing these issues we both had to do school runs and slide or fold know this.
My review is only to warn future customers to protect themselves before ordering and Slideorfold may improve customer service.
I will contact Shueco head office regarding the Cotswold company hinges and plastic trims supplied with my windows.

Door fabricated and delivered within a tight timeframe. Very competitive price and good quality product as you would expect from a Schuco door.

From start to finish, attentive with attention to detail that I can't fault. Delivery was slick and helpful, installation and phone support was perfect and a couple of missing parts were sent first class as promised. Faultless will use again and have recommended repeatedly already

The only reason I did not put 5 stars is because the person who installed the bifold door was rude, very unhelpful, left work undone (which had to be completed by our builders) and no advice. His only aim was to get the money!
I will definitely recommend the company to my friends, already have done do but will suggest a different installer.

Ordered some aluminium bi-fold doors that were made to order and received excellent service from the time of order to the delivery of the product. The quality of the door is fantastic and the fitting was made simple by the detailed instructions.
Excellent service and product and would recommend without hesitation.

I bought the bifolds and they were good value but when using there approved fitters realised it was a mistake to buy from them. The doors made a rattling noise when closing and had a gap in it can say daylight. When contacting the fitter he would not turn up. Company took no responsibility so living with it now.
