Sat on the phone for 40 minutes listening to endless information about how useful the website was (if I could have got it from the website, I would have done!).
Eventually got through to an advisor who was stumped by my query. so they dropped the call!

Utterly useless

I contacted David Carrod of small claims advisor and within an 11 minute phone call he was able to give me professional advice in a succinct and straightforward manner. Prior to engaging with David, I had contacted several debt collection agencies as well as legal firms to assist me in recovering a debt and they all charged me exhorbitant fees but failed to assist me in the recovery of a debt owed to me.

David provided me the same service but at a fraction of the cost. He assisted me in filing a money claim against a scammer who owed me money. Thanks to David's professionalism and first class service my money claim has been successfully submitted against the scammer.

Furthermore, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend David as he an industry specialist regarding small claims and comes with a wealth of experience plus he provides relevant advice tailored to your circumstances.

David was an absolute lifesaver throughout the whole court process. From the very beginning, he was there, patiently guiding me through everything, and helping me prepare all the necessary documents. I cannot rate David and his work highly enough. My partner and I contacted David having seen him on a television documentary about parking tickets. We had been incorrectly advised by a friend regarding our parking ticket situation and turned to David in desperation. His diligence is second to none and his expertise, extensive. He would often reply to emails immediately and outside of office hours which goes a long way in my book. He also turned round a woefully inadequate defence written by me in to a witness statement that was liquid gold. Entirely due to David, the claimant decided to discontinue the case, saving us a claim of almost £300. If you have any parking or general small claims issue, David is your man. Thank you, David. I have been harassed by a parking company for four years .
Their claim was unjustified and I had resisted their threats of debt collectors and bailiffs I was considering giving up for the sake of my nerves when I came across the service provided by David.
He helped me to respond to the requests required by the court and advised how to deal with the claimants solicitors. His support gave me confidence and ultimately they dropped the case.

David helped us win one case, along with our costs and advised us to settle on the second. His advice can occasionally be on the blunt side but at least you know where you stand. His knowledge on parking matters was first class and I suspect he has a good deal of knowledge in other areas of the law, although have only used him for the former. I wish the legal system as a whole was as good. Refreshingly brilliant. We are indebted to you.

It was difficult to communicate as David only communicates via email - he did not allow phone communication. This makes really difficult If you want to explain something or try to understand his view about the case. He only filled a form which was very simple. Appeal Judge rejected the form straightaway as it was nothing on the form apart from 'we believe that decision made by Judge was wrong". I knew this would be the case even though before submitting the form.. Waste of time and money. At least I would have expected better guidance and/or next steps.

Update - 5th May 21

Firstly, I have right to provide a review regarding the service I received. Replying as 'so-called review is completely false' seems very aggressive and not professional.

Most importantly, publishing the customer's private matters on public domain without permission does not look professional. So it seems, when a bad review is published, all court/appeal details could be revealed online without any consideration in the name of 'defense'. How does it work with the Data Protection Act or in terms of customer's privacy? Not ethical at all.

Initially, I said my main criticism was the communication as everything had to be done via email (no phone communication) hence it made it difficult to explain all issues in writing. In addition, I still believe that some reasoning (briefly) were needed to be included in the appeal form (may be on a separate sheet) for Circuit Judge to consider rather than saying 'Judge erred all his decisions (paragraph 1,2,3,4,5 etc )'.

In summary, I just wanted to share my experience so hopefully it could help someone in their decision making process since the dealing with court is very unpleasant experience as we all know.

I can’t highly recommend David Garrod and his team enough! He helped with cases from parking company UKPC and FIRST PORT property services. From start to finish David has been fantastic. His vast knowledge of the law in small claims matters is second to none. We are a trade association, and have had some problems with a small minority of our members falling into arrears with their membership fees, while other non-member companies have been unlawfully using our logos and registered trade marks, holding themselves out to be members when they are not. David has represented us at some preliminary hearings, where his clear and concise submissions have found favour with various District Judges, and his attention to detail in the preparation of Witness Statements and evidence has been of the highest standard. I can thoroughly recommend Small Claims Advisor for any type of civil litigation.

Amazing and excellent service. I 100% recommend the services from small claims adviser. I had to ask many questions and asked for my letters be amended and sent to different addresses and David was will and very prompt doing it. Finally my case was successful. The services were outstanding. Obviously the success of your case depends on the information you have but small claims adviser was brilliant on giving me advice and guidance.

I contacted David on the 17th and he had my court papers prepared and ready to file to court the next day.
