too much repetition. Only just started listening as no cd in new car. Day 1 lovely. Day 2 repeats of some of day 1 by different presenter. Day 3 repeats of day 2. Won't bother if this is the norm. thousands of songs to choose from and you keep repeating. SHAME and SAD

Tedious and repetitive is the best I can say about Smooth. I recently 'rediscovered' is after a decade and I think it's the same playlist apart from a few recent additions.

Sorry, smooth! As a hater of rap-crap, loud rock & etc stuff, I was pleased to hear smooth and the sort of songs I liked that had music behind them, words telling a story and gentle on the ear-drums. Recently I acquired Alexa echo, and have the radio on for my parrots if I go out anywhere. It was only when I came back and left it on in the background for some company that I notice the continuous repeated playlists. I’ve even tried going online looking for those lists to check if I was imagining it. Obviously you don’t read these reviews, otherwise you’d have cared enough to make things different. Your genre goes over several decades, I wonder if there’s answers anywhere of how many recordings were done over those decades, because surely to goodness you can find 24hrs of music, for 4/5 days without a single repeated song in there.. Do you not care what your listeners are thinking , and in these reviews I’m reading desperately BEGGING you, to get some new into the system. There’s lots out there that’s not loud, and people of all ages enjoy .. Let’s see HOW MUCH YOU CARE for us out here. Life is sh I t enough as it is, give us something to relieve those bad feelings. There were more than 50 records in the charts thru the 70/80/90s LETS HEAR SOME.

Please, I know you have to have advertisements but can we get some new ones. Wotiff I told you they are really boring. Again and again and again. Good music though.

Every day same songs at the same time.. 🤦‍♂️ Please change something.

When I found Smooth radio for the first time a few months ago, I was so excited to finally find a radio station that played all my favourite music - however, as time passed, I realised the same songs are replayed every single day and unfortunately I cannot stand it now! I would love to hear more variety and different songs, otherwise I will be on the hunt for a new radio station which I really don't want! PLEASE smooth, play some different songs.

Not keen on this radio station the music is dead and boring. There is way too many adverts and they play the same songs on repeat. I can think of other better radio stations to listen too. But smooth radio ant one.

My rating is only for Paul Phear, he is such a useless presenter, he makes so many mistakes when he talks about artists especially his way of saying Louis Armstrongs name, it's pronounced Louie, get it right Paul and think before you speak or don't speak at all, just let the music do the talking,

Way too many ads, not enough music

Same set of songs played everyday. Useless radio presenters who know nothing about music.
And the amount of annoying adverts is insane.
Worse radio station I have ever had the misfortune to listen to
If you like to hear the same songs over and over again with about 20mins of adverts every hour then this is the radio station for you.

This radio station is so rubbish it should be shut down for good the staff on there a crap too do wast your life listening to this

I used to listen to smooth radio quite a lot however at the end of every and I mean every single song they say SMOOTH RADIOOOOOOOO or SMOOOOOOOOOTH CHIIIIIIIIIIIIILL chill, chill, chill. I like to walk while listening to digital radio sometimes becauce it makes the process more enjoyable, like how you might put the radio on whilst in the car or something. So I'm feeling all calm right and oh this tune is nice and great, yeah I like that and then YOU'RE LISTENING to smoooooooooooooth chiiiiiiiiiil. It's so obnoxious especially when it blasts my ears at full volume when the previous track is just at average volume. I might try Magic radio to see if that's any better.

Artists all day long. Yet real icons of music never played.

I met my wife 5 years ago...we both listened to smooth...but having kept the same play list for the last 5 years we've moved on...so si boring ..the millions of tracks they could play but continue to repeat the same songs...Jesus Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars have had more than one hit...Madonna's Borderline???? I could not have the front to present these shows promoting the same play list...I'd have to leave ..

Got to agree with all the comments on here about the repetition...it seems to be the same on all global radio stations.
I listen to smooth country ( or should i say i used to ) but it's just the same tired old songs...day in, day out!

It's the head of music that chooses the songs played every day...i say sack him or her for god sake and get someone in with fresh ideas!

I now actually tune into an american country station online and hear a vast array of different stuff everyday....SMOOTH COUNTRY TAKE NOTE!!!!

The station was good at first, but over weeks, I wondered if Rod Stewart had shares in the program, oh it is so so repetitive, now months on, the same songs round and round. When presenters introduce songs, be build up,like we haven't heard it, but it's the same songs it's really unbelievable. I have too leave this station for my sanity, thought I would ask for a Westlife song but no never played, the call costs, it's time to leave.

Oh gosh please give up with the very annoying adverts that ho on and on for so long!

More variety on mellow magic and more 60s & 70s, even their main station is good. Smooth was good when owned by GMG was super, but now that Global took over nope! sorry just another 80s/90s station with no variety. Global owners to Blame.
