Service and whole experience with Olly and Paul was fantastic. Not been on ebikes before but this was a smooth and enjoyable rental. Am a keen road cyclist but was looking to hire an e bike post knee replacement surgery. Never used one before but just needed that extra boost post op. The bike was fabulous. Am now tempted to buy one! The customer service from Olly & Paul was faultless. They certainly know there stuff. Absolute pleasure dealing with these guys, Can't recommend them highly enough. Wish them every success in their new venture at Alice Holt. I will def pop over and hire an e bike again for a pootle round the forest tracks. Many thanks

We rented the bikes for half a day. Paul dropped them off at our accommodation in the centre of Chichester and explained the bike set up and controls. First time on ebikes, great fun. Ollie picked them up on our return. Great service and nice guys. Very happy to recommend Southern bike rentals.

ollie was fantastic. plotted a personalised route for us to follow and the e bikes were superb. Recommend the e bikes to anyone looking to ride in the downs. Even if you are really fit - having the ability to have an electric push was life saving. Rashmi

We have been mountain bikers for some time and wanted to motivate friends that e MTB bikes were worth the investment. We gave some gift vouchers for southernebikerentals to mates for their 60th birthdays.
Olly brought the bikes to us and gave a good explanation of how to get the best from them. The bikes are perfect for the South Downs. We had a rather muddy day (sorry Olly) but the bikes performed well against riders on brand new top spec emountain bikes.
Olly collected the bikes that evening as we reviewed the experience over a pint or two. We are all now motivated to buy into the ebike scene, it allowed us to ride routes that we did twenty years ago but with a smile and a bit of banter on the way up!

Me and my wife exchanged my virgin vouchers from indoor sky dive for one. Paid the difference and booked the E bike experience for both of us.

We choose to start in Burley new Forrest from a recommendation and with it working for us geographically.

We where met by Paul who took us through all the mandatory things and then we had to learn how to ride bikes as it has been a few years since we both have ridden. The bikes where perfect.

We booked for 1/2 and day and this was plenty for us to zoom around the new Forrest and see all the wildlife etc. We had so much battery left at the end we where using it on the flats aswell as the hills of course. My wife did struggle with gear selection as she just assumed she would make it up any hill on these bikes. I have done mountain biking in the past so knew about dropping gears etc.
All in all a really good day out followed by a pub lunch locally in the nice country side air. Would highly recommend trying this. Makes you want to buy your own untill you realise they are the price of a small car.

We hired 3 of the E-Bikes to cycle across the South Downs Way over 2 days. Olly & Paul provided amazing service and support from the start of the planning and perfect execution. The bikes were great, the guys were available at all times and everything was spot on. Can highly recommend.

Great day out. Olly dropped off and picked up from the pub car park and gave us excellent advice on routes. Olly helped us sort out some problems on route and waited for us despite being delayed. A great set up and will definitely use again.

Olly and Paul were at the meeting points right on time and recommended a couple of excellent routes. The bikes are perfect for the South downs making light work of the 56km of riding, almost all off road, 1100m climb, and we had a great day returning with batteries that still had some life in them.

We recently worked with Olly and his team on an event. Having the electric bikes meant the event was fully inclusive, just as challenging, not as frustrating and still great fun. Would highly recommend both Olly and his bikes! Never used an electric bike before and my thinking now is - why wouldn't you use one!?

We hired Ebikes through Southern EBike rental for a hen do of 12 people and cannot recommend them enough. They were extremely accommodating, meeting us at a convenient place as we arrived in Chichester so we could get going on the bikes straight away. Bikes were of excellent quality and Olly and Simon really helped us plan a great route! Cannot speak highly enough about using their service!

Fantastic company, nothing too much trouble. Communication was great, bikes were brilliant, fantastic kit. Olly even did a route map for us for a cracking ride. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had a brilliant session with the e-bikes, 2 adults and 3 teenagers all really enjoyed e-biking and exploring the South Downs.
Olly and Paul were so helpful and informative. They provided bikes in great condition, at the allotted time and place as requested. Olly was particularly helpful in setting up the booking and meeting the needs of one member of the party with a particular disability. Paul was so friendly and got us all up and running at the location.

Southern eBike Rentals went above and beyond what I expected, the bike was perfect, Olly dropped it off to me the day before because he was in the area, it was fully charged and clean as a whistle and he provided a spare tube and some chain links just in case we needed them. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again.
