Deplorable Click n Collect System
I purchased a shower curtain online with click and collect in Rockhampton Store. I went to the payment counter to collect the item waited in queue (5) while a single cashier worked when it was eventually my turn I showed the cashier, my email receipt. She promptly said oh click and collect is at the back of the store. Fabulous I thought 💭 😠 Off I toddle to the other end of the store a 100 metres or so. I ring the bell no staff at the counter. I show the staff member the email reciept she asks for id. I didn’t have any id. I said I have the receipt sorry. 😞 Back to my car another 100 metres each way finally get the shower curtain. On the way out I see a bath mat. Of course no pricing on or around lots of signage to say 40% off I eventually find an employee, who tells me there is a scanner over there and points in the direction of the scanner. No smile couldn’t care less. Well Spotlight… why aren’t click and collect at the front counter. Why don’t you mark your pricing. Not Happy Jan.

Terrible customer service! The Spotlight Online phone number takes you to a call centre outside of Australia and they don't really care I've discovered!
Spotlight will let customers who shop in person in a physical store buy just 10cm fabric as a sample but the minimum online online amount is 1 metre!!! I've already wasted money by buying fabric from their online store which isn't the right colour so I tried phoning a physical store only to be told that they can't take payments over the phone! So I'm stuck with buying 1 metre of fabric online if I want to see a sample to colour match!!! I live in a remote area so am unable to visit a store! I tried phoning the online number and found that I can only speak to someone overseas! This is terrible customer service!!!!! I suggest shopping elsewhere if you can!

When I went return the curtains i had been advised on, I was told 'you have provide the receipt' - does that even APPLY in this day and age of electronic transactions ( ie PROOF of purchase! ) i have been a VIP customer for more than FORTY years!

the product was charged at 1.8 meters only 1.7. It may not seem much but I am on a pension and every bit counts. The service at Butler is wonderful but service a Joondalup is absolutely awful. Staff don't seem interested in being there. They are rude and even a store manager was rude. A some one who work in a huge retail company for 20 years I find it difficult how someone needs to be that rude as it is never hard to be kind or smile. while I have put the date down for the shortage of fabric the service at Joondalup is ongoing, Thankyou.

My visit to Spotlight Cranbourne was a nightmare,the store was in such a mess i couldn't find anything. I was simply looking for navy pillowcases, they didn't exist neither did serving table wear.This store needs a major revamp.
Frankston store on the other hand is a pleasure to visit, well laid out store easy to find items, and wide aisles .
WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM IN NZ
Their system can't seperatre an order from click and collect to deliver. They don't offer direct contact with stores for the most efficient way to resolve an issue. There are two call centres! And they provide conflicting advice. They can't even call the stores directly!
The magnets barely hold together
The magnets barely hold together — my dog walks through and the panels just flap open every single time. The mesh started fraying after only a few weeks. Save your money and look elsewhere.

I was shopping for curtains at Spotlight Weatherill Park for a friend that is not mobile so I was using my phone as communication to her, I needed a lot of help as she was putting curtains on all of the windows in her unit.
The sales person, Leonie was so helpful, I couldn’t have done it without her help. Then she organized someone to help to my car.

I had a great experience with the team at Spotlight Frankton this weekend. I visited twice, and on both occasions the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always welcoming with a smile. Their positive attitude really made a difference!

who I asked about a price very rude and obnoxious. Unfortunately I did not get his name. Terrible customer service.

I am still waiting to hear from someone regarding my made to measure vertical blind. This complaint has been going on for 2 months. I wrote a review and hear from someone who says I will bear from the made to measure people but 2 weeks later still waiting. This is the worse service in B have ever had and all I want is for my vertical blades to be altered. I really want a refund.
I received a very poor quality product…and they removed my review
I received a very poor quality product (speicifically a set of curtain rails) and having used these i decided to write a polite but accurate opinion of the blinds on their website reviews. My review was removed and moderated and i was sent an email explaining this.
If they cannot permit polite negative observations of their products then they truly are not trustworthy.

Do not use Made to Measure. While the in-store team were great, the Melbourne-based "customer care crew" were a nightmare. 90 minutes of calls, hung up on twice, put on hold for 15 and 30 minutes at a time and then the patronising manager complains I've wasted his staff time asking for a reasonable response to my initial query. This team didn't seem to understand the basics of returning a call, spelling your name correctly, taking a message accurately. More complicated tasks like explaining their outdated system is well beyond them.

Poor Quality, Poor Customer Service
I was asked by Spotlight to submit a review for a sewing machine that I bought as a present. The machine was broken straight out of the box so I gave an honest review of my experience but I got an email back saying it won't be published because it does not meet their website requirements which is obviously no negative reviews. my review of spotlight is below.
This sewing machine was a present but was broken and not working straight out of the box. I thought that it could be taken back and exchanged, but no it has to be sent away for appraisal even though it has never been used which is very disappointing. I dont recommend this machine and the Spotlight customer service is archaic compared to most other retailers.

For many years I’ve bought stuff from Spotlight and had no issues this time I bought a rug for my home. It was advertised as having been $800 on special for $200 during the black Saturday sales. I bought that from Spotlight and when it arrived It was just rubbish. This came from an independent source that are now selling their products via Spotlight
When I reported my issues Spotlight they told me if I had any issues even though I had bought and paid for it through their site that I would have to argue with the manufacturer. This went on for months. There was no real attempt to solve the problem they keep saying, if if you had a change of mind, you should’ve addressed it as such, I had never had a change of mind had the product been what it was supposed to be. I would’ve been very pleased with it however, it isn’t. I have now owned this product for approximately eight or nine weeks $200. I paid. I can’t live with this in my house. I take great pride in my house it’s not something I can live wit
I have been in negotiations with Spotlight for weeks and weeks and weeks. They told me during this time that I would have to negotiate with the manufacturer myself that they wouldn’t do it
after a lot of toing and frowing they I could return the rug to South Melbourne (lat my cost )I I live in the Mornington Peninsula, which would cost me a lot of money and I don’t think the onus is on me
