This company Springplans also advertise as Repair and maintain. They say quick and efficient service what a load of rubbish. I contacted this company February 16th to have a quick fix on my washing machine, I was told for £139 my washing machine would be fixed in 48hrs what a joke. Fast forward to March 23rd weeks without a washing machine, weeks of being lied to weeks of stress to be told we can’t fix your washing machine. They told me they would refund me my £139 which I had asked for back weeks before to be told the part has being ordered so no refund, minus £59 because they had to call an engineer out in the 1st place. They have zero customer service skills not at all bothered about the customer it’s all about them. So after all these weeks without a washing machine being lied to and all the stress it caused me it cost me £59 for the pleasure. This company are the worst company I’ve had to deal with in my life they are an absolute disgrace avoid at all costs. I give them Zero stars AVOID!!!

I scheduled a washing machine repair…

I scheduled a washing machine repair appointment. Two days in advance. Within hours, I managed to fix the issue myself (turns out, competence is free). No engineer had been dispatched. No van was en route. No time had been lost. All that was required was a simple click of “cancel.”

Instead, I was informed that cancelling would cost me £79.

Not £10.
Not £30.
A full, unapologetic, eye-watering £79.

For context: this was an appointment that had just been booked. The visit wasn’t until two days later. No parts ordered. No labour performed. No inconvenience caused. The only thing that happened swiftly was them charging the full amount immediately.

Ah yes — they take the entire payment upfront in seconds (£169) . But the refund? That takes 10 days.

Efficiency, it seems, only works in one direction.

There was no flexibility. No goodwill. No basic human understanding that sometimes problems get solved. Just a rigid script and a payment system designed to extract maximum value for minimum effort.

If you’re looking for a company that specialises in repairing washing machines, I can’t comment.
If you’re looking for a company that excels at charging £79 for pressing “cancel” on a booking made hours earlier — you’ve found them.

Customer service implies service. This felt more like a toll booth.

Proceed accordingly.

Truly Atrocious Customer care and service

Truly atrocious customer care and service. I had a £139 upfront payment for my dishwasher which turned out a simple front control panel . It took over 2/3 weeks and two visits to replace the part (first visit with no replacement part) I suggested at the onset due to clear evidence. I was also signed up to a 12 month contract with them with no option to cancel. This was not clearly explained or understood at the time of intial request. Today, after realising I have alreay made 5 monthly payements, I called them twice, both times it was the same man, he had a poor skills in comms for customer service , you can detect a robotic insistene without empathy no care for the trouble we had and the inconveniance caused.

Absolutely disgusting service

Absolutely disgusting service. I was conned out of £150 upfront payment for my cooker which turned out not to have a fault. I was also signed up to a 12 month contract with them with no option to cancel. There is only one man I have ever spoke to and he has now threatened me with debt collection if I do not pay for this monthly contract.
