Perfect Preschool Alternative
Started using it as a small motor skill sort of practice-- the music isn't as annoying as most kid shows, and the kids do learn the memory-songs very easily.
So far it's taught three of my kids their letters, the names of shapes (2- and 3-D) and some rather good vocabulary from the books, along with a decent selection of random information. The three year old uses "obstacle" correctly in normal conversation.
Plus how to use a mouse.
An outstanding preschool-to-first-grade website.
