So far dealing with stephensons solicitors has been a very positive experience Rachel Gildart is the person I have been dealing with very knowledgeable, respectful, and engaging, a very positive experience so far

I have multiple concerns about this firm and over the course of the past 2 years have raised a number of complaints regarding the unnaceptable level of service I have received from them. I have 2 investigations currently active by the Legal Ombudsman and I have been left with no choice but to raise a complaint with the SRA regarding effectively communicating with me and withholding my damages for longer than they should. In early April I settled a disability discrimination claim and I still haven't received my damages. Whilst I acknowlefte that the LAA had to conduct a statutory charge assessment, delays that were outside of my control and the result of my barristers clerk erronously submitting a bill for additional expenses, it is unfair that my request for an interim payment was rejected 4 times without Stephensons approaching the LAA with my request for release of an interim payment.
On 3rd September I contacted the LAA and was advised that they had advised Stephensons to release my damages in full on 17th August. I still have not received my damages. Furthermore, stephensons has failed to responf to or acknowledge reciept of my emails on 3rd and 4th September querying matters. I am appalled at their incompetence and would strongly advise ise others to avoid using this firm, particularly Abigail Martland and her supervising solicitor.

I wanted to take a moment to review the services I recently received from Stephensons Solicitors.
It was an employment issue that was resolved quickly and with extreme professionalism. I was guided through every step by Chantelle Holsgrove and Phil Richardson who were extremely knowledgeable and very kind and courteous. Correspondence was kept updated very efficiently by Debbie Ratcliffe.
All in all a very impressive service. I would highly recommend them.
