Sterling were thoroughly professional and genuinely friendly throughout—an excellent team that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Nick carried out the initial site survey and proposed a very smart installation location that I hadn’t considered. Although there was another softener company just down our street, Nick’s approach and attention to detail stood out, which made the decision to go with Sterling an easy one.

We chose the Hague Maximizer for its efficiency with salt and water usage, even though it’s slightly larger than alternatives like Harvey, so fitting under standard sink is hard.

David handled the installation, which turned out to be more complex than expected due to space constraints, the existing pipework, and the requirements of a combi boiler system. He quickly adapted the plan and suggested a clever reconfiguration to make everything work. Despite the complexity, David made the whole process look effortless. His plumbing expertise and attitude were exceptional. He was meticulous, worked non-stop for around seven hours, and took the time to answer all my questions patiently. Even a difficult-to-access stopcock was made easy to manage by the end. David also left everything spotless after the job, which was much appreciated.

The final setup was tailored perfectly: a separate hard water tap in the work area, the main kitchen drinking tap and garden supply on hard water, the boiler’s secondary heating on soft water (with the option to run the primary circuit on hard via a bypass valve), and the bathrooms, dishwasher, and washing machine all on softened water.

Radina managed the scheduling and admin side seamlessly. She was always responsive, organised, and patient in addressing all my queries.

Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish from Sterling.

We had install on a Saturday and on the Monday received an email from Radina with all warranty info plus confirmation to do a follow up visit in a few weeks to ensure all is working well

He gave us a call before he arrived within the agreed window and despite initially having a very difficult time finding parking around the area, managed to get the job done within 3 hours. Great Service. I live in a hard water area and needed a new water softener to replace my old one. They came out quickly and recommended a good system to replace my old one that would be effective for the size of my house. The installation was quick, clean and very well done. The new system was setup in a nice and tidy location and topping up with salt is easy to do.
