We live in Cardiff and for the last 20 plus years we always bought our baklava and other sweets from Sweetland in London. We mainly order baklava etc online and occasionally when we visit London, we would visit the bakery and shop in person. We always thought highly of all their products especially the baklavas and in the past, we ordered online for my son’s wedding, birthdays, gifts, etc. Few weeks ago, we ordered bourma pistachio, pistachio baklava and baklava selection for a party, we were very disappointed with the quality of the bourma which was overbaked and had pistachio shell bits in the filling. Furthermore, we paid for premium selections and what we received was bit sizes for all the orders. I have given one start only because the product arrived in time as promised – shame that after all these years we now have to look for an alternative bakery.

I am dissatisfied with part of my order. While the Pistachio Maamoul Mad and the Date Maamoul were delicious and enjoyed by my guests, the Balouria was unacceptable. It was dry, hard, and tasted very old, which led my guests to find it unpleasant and not eat it.

I feel it is unfair to pay £20.95 for 650g of a product that ended up being thrown away.

I hope the shop can provide an explanation for this issue!

You guys are flawless, there is no other brand or shop i would ever buy Lebanese sweets. Your Bakhlavas are crispy, Mamouls are fresh and best of all is your packaging its just impeccable

I ordered 1kg bite size baklawa and asked specifically to have it fresh, but i was disappointed as usual, the baklawa wasn't fresh. I will not order it online again😔.
The Ma3mool and Namura was good though👌🏻

The bit size baklava is excellent. The petit four is awful and is no where near what it should be. The mamoul is not great.

Arrived next day, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by all guests at the party. Special shout out to the vegan baklava which was just as delicious as the normal one!

My son absolutely loves Baklava and I ordered i think was a 500g tin for a present..he loved it and said he use the tin afterwards..he said it just tasted of holidays 🫶

Love all the Arabic sweets from here. The baklava is so fresh and not sickly sweet like other places . Perfect texture still crispy and so delish 🤤

First time using sweetland London so glad I did and will be using again may try there Turkish delight next time if it tastes as good as there pistachio
