Great shame here as the choice of products at thedrinkshop is second to none. My order for Christmas arrived on time but one item was missing. I was promised a replacement in the post the following day (20th December) I am still waiting and the big day has now passed. We had to buy 2nd choice drinks for our guests which was not the best. Plus the additional expense of course.

Terrible. Ordered drinks on the 10th December and was given a delivery date of the 6th January.
How can it take almost a month to deliver a few beers and bottles of tonic?

I ordered 24 bottles of tonic water via Amazon and they send the wrong one, of course the cheaper one.
As they are not able to deliver me the more expensive one (I ordered) I assume that this is a kind of 'business model'....very sad and very bad...

December is here yet my order arrived a day ahead of schedule. Great service and a fantastic inventory with competitive prices.

I clicked on this review page as I misfiled my DrinkShop bookmark. I was appalled to see a few slanderous reviews, how you published them is beyond me. I’ve been a regular customer for about five years and found their service, advice, pricing, packaging and deliveries spot on. Perhaps these relate to a fraudulent imitation site as all complaints seem to be around the busy Christmas period. I also find it most odd that a complaint directed at a courtier service is reflected on the retailer. I recommend the DrinkShop without hesitation ...

Honest.Tracking service was a bit odd.Yet...worth the surprise delivery.

Really disappointed, I ordered a few items and payed extra to have them delivered Las Saturday, as they were part of my wife's birthday's present and it never arrived. Is a shame, I spent my whole Saturday waiting for it to be delivered and I payd more for a satirday delivery that never happened. I'm still waiting for the parcel just in case you are wandering... Awful. It was the fourth time we ordered from them and never had any problem before. This is unacceptable.

Purchased a gift for a colleague to be delivered 21 December 2018, and they still have not received it on the 27 December 2018. They use DHL who lied and said they tried to deliver. This is not true as recipient in situ at the alleged times.
Never again will I purchase from this Company as it took them all their time to offer an apology.
Update: DHL HAVE NOW LOST THE PARCEL!!! To give The Drink Shop some credit - they are now going to send another parcel to the recipients home address, but unfortunately it's still DHL, so we shall see whether they manage to deliver this time.

Ordered and paid for a case of 6 bottles of a nice New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc - delivered today, box sealed and found only 5 bottles in the case. Was ordered as a gift. How annoying and disappointing.

Great selection, reasonable service; no problems

Terrible customer service. Borderline crooks. Avoid!

The delivery of my bottle was delayed by a month which is the reason for the loss of a star, but both times I have spoken to customer service the woman at the other end has been lovely. Even keeping a bottle with a specific packaging under her desk to make sure I can still get it when all my bottles are in stock. This alone is the reason for the such good review, plus the price of certain items being good. Will review again when my bottles arrive.

This is as close to a scam as you'll find marketing as a legit business.
I ordered online, payment accepted, order confirmed, no deliver, no communication, after getting a response, they basically told me I didn't get their single email telling me it was never shipped. Still trying to get my money back, it's a shame I don't have enough time to get the Christmas gifts I'd planned for and ordered. DO NOT order from here unless you want to get ripped off. Regrettably, I should have taken more notice of the many previous reviews saying a similar thing.

Really disappointed in this company, I ordered two boxes of a gift set for a staff party present and when they arrived they were damaged and I cut my hand on it when I opened the box, it was in a million pieces. When I called, they didn't seemed that concerned about it, and I even cut my hand on it. It was so badly packaged, no wonder the glass broke.

Brilliant. Delivered a day early as well

I'm a regular buyer from TheDrinkShop and have made a good thirty or so orders with them. Always reliable and the one time they mixed up my order by accident, they had it all corrected within a few minutes on the phone with minimal fuss. Items are well packed and delivery costs are reasonable however slightly on the pricey side for small orders on next day delivery. Overall I'd happily recommend them, it's always best to judge a service based on when things go wrong and how they handle it and in this case, they done an amazing job.

I ordered 10 bottles of tonic wine and a bottle of absinthe.

I was told that the delivery was 4-5 days, now 10 days after and I still haven't received anything.

I had to call the company three times where I was told that they had shipped my order (every time) only the last time I call them they send me a tracking number showing that the just packed my order and that they haven't picked it up yet.

Very disappointing - bad service.

Really poor service placed an order then received email to say it would be delivered in 4 weeks time. Called Customer services they said 2 items out of stock were holding up the order. The 2 Items were cancelled and refunded then i received the remaining order following day which was missing another item. Contacted customer services again and lady was pretty rude in effect telling me that it was my fault when placing the original online order. She has no explanation for her colleagues mess up the day before and would not refund me the £4.79 delivery charge for the inconvenience. Will never use again.

I placed an order early in the month, items were in stock so i opted for express 2 day delivery which isn't cheap.

After placing the order, and taking payment, i get an email saying delivery will now be at the end of the same month.

A new month has begun and still no delivery.

Terrible service, similar companies treat me well as i spend around £13k per annum.
