Amazing Customer Service
The customer service team is phenomenal. I had a strange issue with USPS and Threadless was very helpful on their end allowing me to pinpoint the delivery problem. They are fantastic and I’ve never received this level of assistance from an online retailer before.

Prints are hit or miss, mostly miss
Its hard to find shirt designs i enjoyed still in store. and i saw on the shirts was printed this website, so i came here and ordered an extra pair. They came in and i have a massive issue and no way to just review on the website itself.
1. The shirt type quiality is ok. Not bad, you can choose the type of shirt and the ones i recieved were fine.
2. Bad print quality. The print quality is terrible or bad. For 3 of the 4 i recieved the print was saturated, fuzzy and off alittle, the parts that were black (the shirt portion) had black print on them where it shoulnt be, it feels like if they are used regularly, the designs might just rub off in a matter of months and ive had these same designs from instore for over 2 years. On one shirt the print felt like they just glued a slice of plastic onto the shirt and it doesnt feel like it will stay on with prolonged use.
Overall terrible which sucks because a lot of shirt designs i would like more of are on there and no longer in stores.

Threadless uses contracted printing that is horrible
Threadless uses contracted printing shops for various items. They do not uphold a high quality standard at all. More than 50% of the items I've ordered in 2025 have had defects. This includes everything from t-shirts to hoodies to mugs. They can't get the printing straight. The printing contains defects with streaks or entire chunks missing. Is a human being even LOOKING at these before they go out the door? It's shameful. Threadless has reprinted a handful of items for me and has refunded me for others. It is very hard to have a Threadless shop for my nonprofit when there's a high chance that my donors/clients are going to get something defective from their shoddy suppliers. Stay far away.

Takes forever to receive anything and customer service is useless... They just tell you to keep waiting. I hope I'm still alive by the time the product arrives.
I ordered it almost 4 weeks ago and I was told to wait 2 more weeks and then contact my local. Post office for help. Then if that doesn't work to contact them again. They shipped it but I get to do all the work to find out why it's not working. I didn't ship it, you did. Don't put the burden on the customer. Worst shipping and customer service experience I've ever had.
According to them, 5 weeks is standard shipping time. They could have walked the product here in less time. Shocking.

Amazing Customer Service
To keep it short and sweet:
I wanted to try out Threadless, and ordered 4 shirts, delivery oversea to Europe. Quick delivery, but the T-Shirts didn't fit, so I asked if I could return them and get the same order in a larger size.
Threadless immediately (as in: within 24 hours) initiated a new delivery, and told me that I can do with the order I already received whatever I wanted: gift them to friends, donate them to charity, anything I wanted.
Just absolutely fantastic customer service and very generous goodwill towards a first time customer!

Threadless customer service was… prompt and helpful!
Threadless customer service was excellent with a shirt that didn't end up fitting as desired. Their policy is amazing and customer service was incredibly quick to respond on weekdays. No fuss at all.
Though I would recommend the women's fitted tee based on the comfort, be aware that it runs extremely small - smaller than juniors even. I sized up two sizes.
The standard unisex shirt doesn't feel all that nice, but it might get better with some washes.
Prints look good. Sized and centered properly with vivid colors.
As their shirts are custom printed, it does take a while to get your order. The shipping fees are rather expensive for slow DHL. Wish they had a reasonable free shipping minimum.
AWFUL company
AWFUL company. I ordered a shirt on Jan 31 8:30AM with their Valentine's promo with the expectation of having for a performance on said day. They claim 2-5 business days for processing, then another 2-5 for shipping. As of today (Feb 18) I still have not received it. AND they won't refund my money, instead they talk around excuses and shipping times and closed dates that aren't even relevant to the order (even had the nerve to say they are close on the 17th, well YEAH but that is still later than the day you said it would arrive.) GARBAGE and I am sure they don't pay the artists enough. Go with any other online tee shirt company other than this one.
AND THIS UPDATE RESPONSE BELOW FROM THEM IS LAME. If you provided good customer service, which you don't you will have refunded me already. Also I was in touch with you more than five business days regarding it and you gave me a run around answer. And hey note, the President s day holiday has nothing to do with it. You were already negligent in shipping it on time. They are deceptive in advertising and shipping. Why did it have a tracking # for over a week without any other records? Because they didn't actually ship it on the 7th, just created the label. Big difference. Weak excuses.

Motive verschwommen, doppelt Zoll bezahlt
Ich habe vor ca. 12 Jahren dort T-Shirts bestellt, die ich immer noch trage! Drei Motive habe ich kürzlich nachgekauft, war total happy dass es noch immer die gleichen Motive gibt. Die Bestellung hat mich leider auf der ganzen Linie enttäuscht. 15 $ pro T-Shirt ist noch OK, dazu kommen 11 $ Shipping und 15 $ Tax. Auf der Post (Österreich) musste ich dann nochmals 14 € Zoll und Nachnahme bezahlen (wieso??). Hätte ich das Paket bloß gleich abgelehnt. Die Motive sehen total mies gefertigt aus, nicht vergleichbar mit der damaligen Qualität. Noch dazu alle drei mit unterschiedlicher Technik, davon wird in der Beschreibung der Produkte nichts erwähnt, eines sieht nicht besser aus wie selbst mit Bügelfolie gemacht, die anderen beiden viel kleiner als damals und total verschwommen. Die Damen-T-Shirts waren schon damals viel zu lang und sind es heute immer noch (es sei denn man möchte sie als Nachthemden tragen). Für in Summe gut 25 € pro T-Shirt doch eine Enttäuschung. Ich werde dort nicht mehr einkaufen und kann den Einkauf auch nicht empfehlen.

Unethical business practice
Based on my personal experience with Threadless as both a designer and customer, I've witnessed concerning unethical business practices. As a designer, I had work approved and used on greeting cards sold in Target stores. However, Threadless refused to pay me for my work and ignored my communications until I was forced to involve a third party to recover payment. Even then, the compensation I finally received was well below industry standards for nationwide retail distribution.
Recently as a customer, I ordered a t-shirt that was priced above average market rates. After three weeks, I discovered they hadn't even shipped the t-shirt. When I contacted customer service, they promised a refund, but failed to follow through until I had to contact them twice to actually receive it.
I attempted to address these concerns directly with founder Jake Nickell but received no response. Based on this pattern of behavior - refusing payment until forced, ignoring communications, taking money for products they don't ship, and failing to fulfill basic business obligations - I have serious ethical concerns about their business model. They appear to exploit their designers by withholding rightful payment, mislead customers by charging premium prices and sometimes not delivering products, and given this treatment of both designers and customers, I question whether the staff manufacturing their t-shirts are being fairly compensated(?).

Excellent Customer Service
I ordered some shirts for my son, and unfortunately they were a bit too tight around the tummy for him. I've ordered many shirts for myself from Threadless over the years, but this was the first time I had any issue with an order, so I didn't know what to expect.
What I received was AWESOME customer service from Amanda. 10 minutes after I emailed I had a response letting me know that shirts in the larger size would be sent out, and 3 minutes after that I got confirmation of a new order. I'm extremely impressed by the quick response, and providing better service than I was expecting. I've been dealing with custom service at a different company (trying to get them to send me a zipper), and that's been 4 phone calls, 5 emails, 8 months, and still no resolution.
Thank you Amanda! I was already a fan of the site, but I feel even better recommending it to friends now that I know how awesome your support is.

Update: Sizing, Purchase isses, Credit issues
Their sizing guide is inconsistent within the same categories for materials/shirt styles. The quality is not very good as the material is so thin and chintzy that it feels like an old shirt that has been sitting around in a warehouse aging from air and dust. Purchased well over $400 in shirts; had to request for four-five of them to be corrected. Only offered a credit or a reshipment and told information that counters the website. Follow up wasn't really prompt as I had to email two extra times to get a response over the course of a few days.
If you REALLY need one, only purchase if on a sale, but probably can find better quality somewhere else. Honestly, not the brand I purchased from some time ago.
Update: Oct 10.
Decided to go take the credit option (if the sizing was inconsistent & incorrect despite all other shirts of that same type fitting, I'll spin the wheel). Received a credit for $56.13USD when in fact, the total I paid was $78.4.
So I checked the site and the shirts are on 30% discount... Why would the company not offer the actual amount I paid? Wouldn't you assume that the person would check the account, see the total paid and go, "Yeah, credits for that"
Additionally, there is a charge for three shirts that I NEVER received a shipment order form for and am looking into.

Love my sweatshirt! I had to swap it out for a larger one and the customer service I received from Amanda was top notch!! And, they act fast. My order was processed and shipped out with no wasted days. Thanks, I'll be back :)

Quick response and replacement
In my order of several t-shirts, one of them was a bit too small. I contacted them and they responded very quickly and started the process of shipping the same shirt with a larger size, at no additional cost. I thought I would be returning the original one in the mail, but they said I could keep or donate it- this was a surprise and is really nice of them since it can be a hassle to send it back. I will find a good home for the original one, and appreciate their prompt reply on this!

Great returns/exchange service
I requested an exchange after a shirt I ordered was too long, and the store said they were sending me a new shirt, one size smaller, at no extra cost, suggesting I gift the too-long shirt to a friend. This was unexpected and much appreciated.
