I had a poor experience from TM Financial Solutions. I approached TM because I was looking for a mortgage broker, experienced with different types of lending and customer situations.

It was disappointing the girl I spoke to knew less than your typical homeowner and most certainly didn't instill me with confidence she had a comprehensive and end-to-end knowledge of the market.

Mortgage brokers should be exactly that. I got the sense I wasn't getting any other service than someone typing something into a computer on the other end of the phone, in exchange for a handsome amount of money.

Very disappointing and as a result, I chose an alternative company for their services and didn't proceed any further with TM.

I understand said individual no longer works for the organisation.

Paul Griffin was very quick with dealing with the mortgage application and Help to Buy application. Very good at communication, keeping us updated.

Paul has been fantastic with our multi lending requirements. He was quick to come back with solutions and because of his hard work, it allowed us to secure our forever home and future investments. Thank you Paul

Contacted Paul after my current mortgage lender refused to lend on my new property because of their very strict lender criteria.

He managed to get a new offer sorted within a week! Which was mightly impressive!

Paul went above and beyond to help me secure the mortgage offer required, specific to a new build property where a guaranteed 45 day extension can be obtained simply by notifying the lender should the completion date be pushed back. He was extremely patient, understanding and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. We were thrown a few curved balls along the way but Paul dealt with each issue very professionally and quickly.
I have and would continue to highly recommend him to friends and colleagues, and will no doubt be using him again in the future myself.

Paul has been amazing throughout. Lenders are always difficult and as a conveyancer I am extremely familiar with their last minute changes and demands. Paul was on top of it throughout and came through for us when we almost lost our loan. Our sellers were becoming frustrated but Paul solved our problem and chased the lender until everything was resolved and one could not have asked for a better broker. I will be using TM again very soon and will ask for Paul.

The full process for us through their support and guidance was as smooth as to be expected and the timing was exactly right (since our new home still needed the finishings and polishings anyway).
