Great Service

My satnav was repaired and returned to me within a week of my posting it.
It is now, again in an as new condition.
From initial phone call to Marian, to discuss the repair to recieving it back, the service has been excellent.

Excellent. My Tom Tom Satnav took about two weeks to repair from posting to return. I received emails at every stage reporting the process eg with an indication of wait time. The price was good, and I had the option not to proceed at that point. I’m a very satisfied customer.

Terrible customer experience, very poor communication - best avoided

Had a Garmin smartwatch that wasn't functioning due to a failed battery repair. Contacted Marian to see if he could assess for a repair. He promptly replied saying he would take a look and to send it over. I was then emailed to say the item had been received and it was in for diagnostics.

A month went by and I had no updates so I had to chase it up. Marian emailed straight back saying he would check on it. Chased it again a week later and I still heard nothing back. Tried again three days later - got no reply.

Another two weeks went by and I emailed Marian to ask for my property back.

He came straight back saying that he'd been waiting on another watch to come in so he could try the screen from that one. Waiting for other customers to send in the same device to use for spares on other device repairs is hardly a professional approach.

Whilst I appreciate this is on older device, I would have liked to be informed as to the cause of the delay. Communication was soorly lacking.

With my request to return the watch, Marian very quickly assessed the device as irrepairable (assumed there was a short circuit), invoiced for return delivery and promptly returned it to me.

This was a very frustrating experience from start to finish. I was very glad that I had not sent a working smartwatch in for repair as I was doubtful that it was ever going to be returned. I can not recommend this company whatsoever.

At best it's unbelievably poor service, probably just straight up fraud

Shocking. Sent a watch in for battery replacement over five weeks ago now. Great comms up until the point at which they received the watch, then nothing. Responses to emails and texts are intermittent and just excuses and empty promises. The phone is never answered...

No idea whether this will actually be sorted. I've resorted to reporting to the Police through Action Fraud.

I would not advise posting them any valuable items for repair!

I purchased a renewal for my tom tom sat nav last year i was double charged the fee of £34.99 totalling£64.88 after many many emails phone calls i did not get this money back i have recieved an email asking for a renewal payment using this platform i contacted tom tom and asked about the money i was overcharged reply was through bots i was asked for information wich i gave over and over was sent a link for a renewal wich did not work over and over same process as last renewal it is impossible to contact this company and talk to a person and if you are not internet savvy like me you get nowhere terrible service

they received my Garmin watch nearly 3months ago as per their device received email. then 6 weeks later after numerous emails and phone calls for an update I received an email saying repair in process. now almost 3 months after receipt of my watch I cant get an update or answer to my emails or phone calls. Royal mail wont accept a claim as they have proof of delivery. I feel like i've had me £300 garmin watch stolen and paid £54.98 for the priveladge

Garmin 820 battery replacement

23 working days (5 - 15 claimed) to replace the battery. Device eventually returned, new battery, new charging port and 4 dull circles in each corner of the screen. Basically they have knackered the screen and instead of compensation, they have said they'll replace it for £60 !! What a cheek.
Would recommend you avoid these people.

Scam sent my Garmin fenix watch off months ago, number on site doesn't work. Emails responded to saying how busy they are and yet I have not received a refund or my watch returned. DO NOT USE !! i wish I read reviews prior to losing my watch.

This is an update to my previous review.
I recieved my Satnav, repaired (new battery), today.
Special Delivery. Whether this was because I warned them that I would report them here and action Fraud, Trading standards, Police etc. I don't know, so maybe they are legit and just wierd how they respond to people's requests. I tried to contact TomTom Co. about this, but impossible for phone no. chatbots only that dont know the word Fraud. I got a possible London address and wrote to them, whether I'll get a reply who knows...
Previous Satnav that needed a battery I sent to Tomtom Amsterdam with no prolems...

BEWARE Scam company that steals your stuff

BEWARE, SCAM.
This company, 'Marian' has had my Garmin Fenix watch for nearly 3 months (advertised repair within 2 weeks) and has now stopped replying to my emails.
They have effectively stolen my watch and I have paid them to do it. Please do not use this company or you too will have your stuff nicked. Worst 'company' I have ever used. Beware.

Been am absolutely disappointed experience.
Sent my HGV sat nav in for repair 5th September I received an email saying the had received it 10 day later another email saying g they were looking at it and now it's 15th of October I've sent emails / calls no answer no reply , I'd say this company is a scam , please do not use , they have my £450 sat nav , I'm a professional driver and thus is a must for work and going into cities, I'm.not in a position to buy another one , can not express how stressful this has been ...

6 weeks so far for replacement of…

6 weeks so far for replacement of battery in tomtom. Does not reply to emails or phone. The reviews on his website are only 4 's and 5's as he does not post any others. (I left 1). Seems to be a sole trader and I am pursuing the return of my tomtom and charger.

Update--Returned after stating legal action will be taken. Said it was my mount which had been bought 3 days before sending it for battery replacement. Battery was not replaced and had to pay as it was my charger. Do me a favour. DO NOT USE

I paid for a “Touch Screen Replacement…

I paid for a “Touch Screen Replacement Service TomTom Toyota 2” and a battery replacement. After reinstalling the unit, touch worked but the display showed burn and discoloration marks. When I asked for help, Marian only sent a repair photo and said the issue was age related and not part of the job, then quoted extra £60 to replace the LCD.

The listing reads like a full screen fix, but in practice it was digitiser only. I was not warned about any LCD defect before the original repair and I wasn’t offered a practical resolution when I raised the problem, even after I offered to cover postage. If you use this service, get clear written confirmation of exactly what will be replaced and ask for job notes before they proceed. My issue remains unresolved. It’s a joke service and no accountability.

Do not use this company!

I sent my watch for a battery replacement 3wks ago, have t heard a single thing since regarding the watch!
They never answer the phone so don’t bother ringing - why on earth they put a phone number on the site - it’s pointless!!
Dreadful customer services!
Don’t believe all the 5 star reviews on their website! It’s a biased and untrue representation of the actual service!

Sent my garmin watch battery be…

Sent my garmin watch battery be replaced. Watch was received by this company on the 11th July. With several emails to which I have had 1 response. With my last email I asked for the watch to be returned. No such luck. Even called the company to which no answer just a text saying signal issue contact by email. Please do not use them find someone else to fix your items.

An excellent repair service

I cannot understand the negative reviews on this website. I had my Tomtom via 62 repaired (it needed a new battery) and I have nothing but praise for the company. After my initial e-mail enquiry they telephoned me to explain how they operated. After I sent them the device for repair they e-mailed me to say they had received the device. I had been told the repair would take about ten working days. Eight working days later I received an e-mail explaining what had been wrong the device, an invoice and a note to say the device was ready for dispatch. I paid through Paypal and the device was dispatched later the same day. It arrived the next working day. When I checked the device it was undamaged and working properly.
