I've used Tradefix for the past 2 years and every shipment has been great. Good prices, good delivery, happy customer.

Place two separate orders for L brackets, as no way of cancelling the first. charged twice for courier fees at 12£ a go, yet both orders delivered under one delivery. Came on time but Just poor practice.
Could have offered me a refund of 12£, this I could be writing a 5star review.
Equally I could chase and contact them but really writing this is easier…. Pah

I ordered some gate fixings on a Wednesday evening, ahead of a weekend project. The website states most orders are delivered next day (order before 4pm) – however to be certain I received the order in time I paid extra for express delivery.
The order did not arrive on Friday as promised, nor did I receive any communication/apology from Tradefix Direct Ltd explaining of any difficulty (which I appreciate many businesses are currently experiencing due to the Coronavirus). Had I received any communication it might have been met with more understanding.
It was only when I flagged the issue myself that the company realised my “priority” order had “slipped the net” (this was the explanation given by the business’ sales advisor, Julie).
Furthermore, Julie said that alluded to the fact that it was my fault for having not flagged the issue on day and that had I done so they could have put the order on a Saturday morning delivery. A bitter Julie then took it upon herself to refund my order and advised me to visit a DIY shop – which I would expect someone in the industry to know do not offer comparable products (or perhaps she did know?).
I responded as such, accepting the apology and requested the items to be dispatch on Monday for a Tuesday delivery.
However, unfortunately for Julie the large chip on the shoulder remained and she advised again for me to go elsewhere – and that is exactly what I did.
I now thank Julie for saving me £30 (30%) sourcing my products from IronmongeryDirect with free next day delivery on orders before 8pm – as a prospective customer should you be looking to a supplier you can rely on – I suggest you do the same. You never know when you might need good customer service/post sales support and you certainly will not find it with Tradefix Direct.
I strongly suggest that Tradefix Direct Ltd review their ordering process, as well as how they respond to customer feedback – and whether they prioritise this over their righteousness and (lack of) mindfulness.
The iron-y of all this is that this business resides only 25 miles up the road from my home address!

Had some 150mm screws delivered which were bent but as we didn't open all the boxes and check them before 7 days had passed they are unwilling to accept them back, even though 5 of the boxes are still unopened. Very very poor service

knowledgeable staff helped find the right parts for my job. Ordered Thursday morning and they were delivered by 9 am the next day.The joist brackets, nails and screws all look and feel top quality and I saved over £60 compared to buying from local builders merchant/DIY stores.

I ordered stainless steel nails on 18 July 2018 using standard delivery. The next day I received a delivery estimate of a 2 hour time slot early morning which is when they arrived. I was very impressed and will definitely use again.
