Throughly enjoyed. All the hotels were ok with necessary amenities. Food was also satisfactory, but limited variety in some places.

Pompeii and Herculaneum - Good but some caveats
We had an excellent guide in Karina and Nicola was a safe and skilled driver. However the group size of 35 was too large especially for visiting Pompeii with only one guide - we had two guides for Herculaneum and got a lot more from our visit. I was disappointed that the day trip to Capri was cancelled and that no guided alternative was offered. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the hotel catered very well for my lactose intolerance.

Switzerland is fantastic for scenery…
Switzerland is fantastic for scenery and even in the summer months you can touch snow. It also has huge lakes to cruise and the houses look so pretty.

The trips were excellent the train…
The trips were excellent the train rides in particular and Glasier 3000.
However the hotels were not good. The first one in Davos the bathroom was difficult and slippery with no handrail the food evening meal was poor. The bedroom was tiny single room
The second hotel in Interlaken was a three star at best The rooms were substandard and full of secondhand junk furniture. The whole hotel was full of junk
The third hotel in Lusanne was a better hotel but again I had a single room .
I paid a single supplement and therefore I expected a room of the same size as everyone else
Our group leader Roger was excellent. Helpful attentive well organised and for us all week

Great choice of hotel near to lake…
Great choice of hotel near to lake bled, the rooms, facilities and food very good. I particularly liked the buffet style with excellent choice of food with a variety of vegetarian choices too.
The local experienced guide was informative, and I learnt much about slovenia I didn't know which was great.
One of the trips did state we would have several stops on route to julian alps but we only had four...I felt it was far too long on a hot coach. Would have been nice to walk around the area more.
However, I really enjoyed this holiday and as always felt safe with travel sphere...

Well run touring holiday that covered a lot.
Used Travelsphere for the first time this year to go on a tour of Turkey. Very well run tour that covered a lot of places, with a very experienced and knowledgeable tour manager who was also a very professional and friendly person. The hotels were all well situated and ok although the food offerings were nothing special. That said they were comfortable and fine for one or two nights before moving on to the next location. All told, for the price we paid this was a really good experience and we would certainly use Travelsphere again.

I have just returned from the Italian…
I have just returned from the Italian Riviera with Travelsphere and had a wonderful time . This was my second Travelsphere hol and find that the company really do look after you and there is a Rep on hand too. Good customer service too whereby you can call and speak to a person instead of having to do everything on line plus they are happy to post documents out to you too. Yes the holidays are possibly a tad pricier than some but it was worth it to me as some trips were included so therefore didn't have the hassle of trying to find own way to places whereby I would have most definitely got lost if travelling around by myself . Fully recommend ,

Amazing trip
Everything was so organised. Both driver and guide had so much knowledge and got on well with all the group on the coach. No complaints regarding the various hotels we used. Our cases were left in foyers and taken up to our rooms and again left outside our rooms and taken down to foyer to be packed back onto the coach. The weather & animals we saw made the trip even better!

Booking disappointment
Having been on a few very good holidays with Travelsphere and had already booked a holiday in April for Christmas I was pleased to receive a voucher for £100 off my next holiday provided I booked by 30th August 2026 due to the fact that they now have a travel more rewards programme. Having just spoken with one of the advisers to be told that it must be a booking made upon receipt of voucher and not retrospective! How shameful is this especially as if I had booked our December holiday now it would count - obviously early bookers are subsidising bookers after receipt of voucher. I will seriously rethink which travel company I use for my next break and one which rewards loyalty.

Tracking the Big Five with Travelsphere
Great experience on our trip to South Africa. We were met at Heathrow by a Travelsphere rep and again at OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg. This rep accompanied our party on the 3 hour coach journey to the game reserve. Safari Sands is a luxury lodge next to the Mabula Game Reserve in the Waterberg mountains. Once at the reserve we were looked after by the staff there. The general facilities were excellent, the food was good with a reasonable choice and the staff were attentive. However the pool was not heated and was too cold to use. The tented accommodation gave us the feeling of being out in the wilds but with lots of luxurious touches. It was always well prepared for us while we were out on safari drives. Our guide for the safari drives was knowledgeable, approachable and good company, whilst always having our safety in mind. The wildlife sightings were amazing, we got so close to many of the animals. We were in a small group of 12, everyone was friendly and contributed to our enjoyment of this trip.
