I would not recommend this company to anyone. Rubbish!!!
I am extremely disappointed with this company. After a successful lost phone claim, they sent me a faulty replacement phone. I returned it, expecting a new refurbished phone—but they sent back the same faulty phone without any repair at all.
The screen issue was still present, even at the welcome screen.
Not only did they fail to repair it, but now I have to go through the whole process again with no guarantee that the issue will be resolved. Absolutely frustrating and unprofessional.

Would never use again and even makes me think what’s the point of buying holiday insurance for future holiday.
Supplied all proof and evidence of my claim yet it was still not enough. They just kept asking for more proof, even asking proof for things that had nothing to do with my claim. In the end they just stopped replying to my email.

I contacted Trusted to see if I could postpone my policy as it had not been used. I spoke to MICK who advised that it was not possible but as no claim had been made I would be entitled to a 65% refund. MICK was friendly and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend him for employment or promotion.

I've been trying to get a claim resolved since May and I have to chase relentlessly. If you don't call them they sit on documents. Even if you call they say they will escalate but nothing happens. I call back, they say they will escalate and the cycle continues. Weeks now of calling to be told the same thing. I spend a night in hospital in the US and the bill is more than we have so our whole life is on hold until they confirm but they honestly don't care.

Appears competitive but you can’t upload the documents for whatever reason. Also, when you use the forgotten password service, the password sent cannot be changed.

I submitted my claim on 11th August. The policy promises a response within two working days, but every single reply has taken three working days or more.
The claims process is painfully slow. Each time I’m asked for more documents, I upload them immediately, yet I’m told to wait another “two working days” — which always turns into three. This has happened repeatedly.
It is now 19th August, more than a week since I submitted my claim, and I still have no resolution and no meaningful update.
This is not prompt, fair, or professional claims handling. I am extremely dissatisfied. Potential customers should think very carefully before choosing this insurer — if you need reliable or timely support, look elsewhere.

Having never claimed in years I received a letter about their ‘ongoing commitment to providing fair treatment to our customers’ and ‘noted’ I was a claim free policy holder for ‘several years’ and ‘upon careful evaluation’ my policy no longer offers fair value considering the premium and excess. So they gave me 30 days notice of their intention to cancel my policy.
Obviously ‘it’s important to note that this decision will not impact any future coverage and I can ‘confidently’ tell other insurers I have not had any policy cancelled as this particular cancellation is ‘solely related to ensuring fair treatment’.
So after all these years (6/7) of taking my premiums they cancelled me.
Next day I am offered a less than fair policy forever items at a higher price.
Fairness is clearly one way and not at all customer centric. Let’s not start on the frustrating, dated web page where you can’t change details without calling for ‘security’ reasons. My bank can as well as every other institution except Taurus.
Be cautious people. There are better offers out there and much less hassle and no patronising communications.

Very unhappy with this. Was a genuine mistake. I contacted you regards changing my travel dates immediately after realizing that I had made a mistake. Human error! You wish to charge me for this. I took out your policy and this is the way I am treated about only one hour after having taken out the policy. Would this not entirely suggest this was an accident. Who charges for such an error. Its ludicrous. I have asked for someone to contact me from complaints. This did not happen!!! This is not something that should occur especially within a matter of what could be called minutes. Once again appalled by this. No decency to contact me regarding this matter. Most unprofessional.

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from Trusted Insurances. This company is not trustworthy and operates with deceptive tactics. I purchased a travel insurance policy and submitted a claim for a delayed flight. After wasting months of my time, they finally responded saying that they only cover delays of 12 hours or more – a condition that is never clearly shown during the purchase process.
Let’s be honest – no commercial flight gets delayed by 12 hours unless there’s a war or natural disaster. This 12-hour rule is just a dirty trick to avoid paying anything.
They never paid me a single penny, offered no support, and have done absolutely nothing to resolve my claim. This is a clear case of consumer exploitation.
Do not trust them. Do not give them your money. You will get nothing in return.
They are legal scammers hiding behind fine print. I regret ever buying from them.
