Tutorwiz has been helpful with my son thank you

Tutorwiz supports independent learning and as a parent, you receive weekly updates on your child’s progress. However, it requires a minimum subscription of 6 months.

My child used TutorWiz and enjoyed the flexibility of the lessons set. The sessions are tailored to ability and what’s great about TutorWiz is that they fill any gaps in knowledge.
The whole process is easy to start and the programme is simple to use.

Tutorwiz were a great company. My son loved the fact he could dip in and out whenever he wanted and we loved the fact they would revisit topics he struggled with.

Tutorwiz's learning programme is great and I would recommend it to all parents with any type of learner. The children are rewarded for all their learning and they feel achievement within each lesson they complete. The tutors and staff are very supportive. I would highly recommend Tutorwiz to all parents and learners.

My daughter is in year 6 and was struggling to catch up as she had missed more than half of the school year, due to losing both her grandparents within a week of each other. This took a huge hit to her mental health and she was suffering from severe anxiety and panic attacks. Whilst also being diagnosed with Autism, she found school difficult because of all of general things these children have to deal with each day which impacts them deeply.
I decided that it was the right thing to do in order to help her gain her confidence back as she also had her year 6 SATs coming up and was so anxious about doing them and failing.
Her first encounter with the Tutor put her mind at rest straight away and made her feel excited to start her enrolment and get stuck in. I had never seen her so keen to work and achieve. She was doing “only” 20 minutes a day, 3 times a week which doesn’t sound much at all but after doing just 8 weeks worths of her module she got the highest mark in her school SATs and also gained lots of Tutorwiz points in the meantime enabling her to get a gift for herself from her favourite shop “Hobby Craft” as the Tutors at Tutorwiz congratulate and praise the children by giving them points which turn into gift cards for hundreds of different retailers across the country.
If you are looking to help your child with or without additional needs then I suggest you have a look into Tutorwiz, you will not be disappointed!

Very helpful, the kids found it quite engaging, very stimulating

I have home educated my daughter for almost two years. Due to her dyslexia and Autism she found using worksheets hard and frustrating. I came across Tutorwiz and decided it was worth a go, especially as we received two weeks free. She had her assessment and they set work for her ability. It's been 6 months now and I'm so pleased with her progress so far. The online app has been so easy for her to navigate and the points system incentive has been great to keep her enthusiasm going. The fact I can track her progress and I get check in phone calls is very reassuring for me. My daughter is 10 and hasn't used the option to speak to a maths tutor yet, but just knowing they're available to her if needed is amazing. It is well worth the money for us as it's reignited her interest in learning. She loves seeing her points grow and I love knowing she is filling the gaps that she need in her maths and English. We will definitely be using Tutorwiz until she's completes her education. Very valuable tool for the home education community but also if you feel your child needs a little extra support.

The whole system of pausing for holidays didn't seem to work, I did get a refund for those weeks in the end, but only when I cancelled the entire subscription. The contact hours are not convenient for educational queries, the lessons were not interesting for my daughter, there was not enough actual teaching/tutoring input, just mostly flat questions and answers on a boring interface. There should be video lessons for the price, not necessarily live but something more inspiring for the price. Not impressed. We gave it 4 months and have switched elsewhere to something more engaging. Wouldn't recommend in terms of the user experience, value for money or communication

Tutorwiz is great if you want your child to work from home and cover knowledge gaps to fill those so they can move on to better results. I find it easy to do as everything is done online with the questions easy to navigate and user friendly. It is especially good for children who are struggling or parents who are busy and do not have time to teach or drop the children to tuition classes. We needed to go abroad and Tutorwiz was kind enough to suspend our payments until we get back. The only negatives are that there is no actual tutor as such as everything is done online and the fee is slightly high for a software app. There are feedback from Tutorwiz and monthly appraisals though to mitigate this.

Great way to work on your child’s blind spots and help them improve.

Tutorwiz has friendly communicative staff. The tutors keep in regular touch by phone as well as sending weekly reports, which makes the experience feel personal rather than just using a website. It is a great platform for the price, home educating gets expensive. The two weeks free trial can be handy for gauging the interest of your young people, and the points system makes for a decent reward for study completed. I would definitely recommend.

Very pushy. I took a look at the website and downloaded a brochure. The website collected contact data and they have been texting and calling me since despite being asked to stop.

If I had any interest, that is now gone as a result.

EDITED TO ADD:
The timeline stated in the reply from Tutorwiz below is not entirely accurate (2 texts, 2 calls and an email all within the space of 20mins. This was despite the fact that, after receiving the first text, I responded asking for no further contact and stated very clearly that I had not requested it).

As for GDPR compliance, none of these missives from Tutorwiz offered a link to unsubscribe and I ended up having to block them.

Overall, a great experience with Tutorwiz. I especially appreciated the comprehensive gap assessment, which thoughtfully tracks back to Year 1 regardless of the student’s current year group. The daily work is excellent and engaging, the reward system is great as well and well-loved by the kids!

Tutorwiz is a fantastic learning platform that is really helping grow my children's confidence and building on what they are currently learning at school. The incentive programme is a wonderful way to get kids excited about learning as they are able to achieve an award for all their hard work. The customer service is great and any problems I have had has been addressed and sorted out immediately. I would highly recommend this programme to any parent.

Really Good way of making learning fun and easy for kids

Tutorwiz is great provider for children who are struggling with school and maybe require a little extra help along the way.
I used tutorwiz for my child just before GCSEs.
My children has struggled with attending school and tutorwiz really helped fill those gaps.

Tutorwiz has been brilliant for my son he has ASD and several other difficulties and disabilities and didn't do well at all in mainstream a year out homeschooling and using tutorwiz he is doing fab and is so much happier
