Nice carpet but awful service
Nice carpet but awful service. Carpet was fitted with something lumpy underneath. Rang numerous times to ask someone to look at it and kept being told the fitter would be in touch but heard nothing

Overall ok, but they don’t remove waste
Fitting was fine, my order was smooth. The only disadvantage for me was that they do not remove the waste. My carpet was far too big to dispose of in the wheelie bin and I had to pay for someone to take it to the skip. People without a car or very elderly customers who cannot lift weights will find this service not quite suitable for them.

I got my carpets las year after saving…
I got my carpets las year after saving for two years, I asked about underlay and the attendant gestured to the roll of thick underlay and said that the one, so we decided for mine an my 12yolds health as we both registered disabled that we would have the old underlay would be replaced, he also told me I would need my doors shortened. Last year an early this year I was hospitalised due to my house being so cold, I can’t feel anything but stone beneath my carpet an the draft’s between the bottom of my doors which they didn’t even need to shorten. I’m already feeling cold and the heating is on all the time so not a lot of money for food. I wish I never walked in the shop in Leeds

Carpets are lovely
Carpets are lovely, ( can be a bit pricey) but it's not every day we have to change, I'm hoping this will last as long as my other one did. Staff were great, the fitter came earlier than planned but I didn't mind he was friendly, couldn't fault his work at all, very pleased all round

Does what it says on the can
I have been using United carpets for years and recently bought a wool staircase carpet and had it fitted. What I love about United carpets is it does what it says on the can. Great advice, came and measured for free. Carpet arrived quickly and they held it in the shop until I was ready for it to be fitted. All that and got the best price around. Would not go anywhere else.

The men that came to lay my vinyl was very helpful and nothing was too much .I would definitely recommend laid it well and looks absolutely lovely people comment on how lovely it looks .

You guys were excellent
You guys were excellent. From the moment we walked in the store, we knew we would buy from you. Even though the wife had a list of other places to go to in her head.
We bought the carpet they fitted the day after and the fitter was amazing, no sooner was he bringing the carpet in he was saying bye. The only thing is I forgot to get him to measure the two downstairs rooms as I want them sorting out also.

Friendly, understanding, helpful.
I went to the shop and was immediately greeted by a friendly man who was familiar with all the Products in store, he listened to what I wanted and provided me with a range of options he allowed me time to browse the shop alone without pressure.
I ordered carpet for both bedrooms think it was £7.99 psm and was booked in for the coming weekend.
The day before fitting I received a call saying the carpet had been damaged during taking it from the roll but they would supply a better quality carpet (£18.99psm) at no additional charge.
The fitter was also really lovely, kind and friendly. I Will definitely be back when I need my stairs doing.

Lovely salesperson very helpful and informed. Price was very reasonable and the fitter was great .
I’m very happy with the carpet. The Lino has got a few Tomato stains on it already and I’m disappointed that I can’t remove them with my usual cleaning fluid. That’s my only negative everything else was brilliant. Will be back !

Really quick turn around we bought a carpet on a Sunday and it was fitted the following Wednesday. Carpet is high quality and the fitting job was great. Will be using again for sure.

Unbelievable I was asked to move my white goods in my kitchen so that my new lino could be fitted. I am I my late seventies. How do I do that.
Ridiculous I would advise older people to choose somewhere else.

Paul who laid my laminate floor was excellent from start to finish , I cannot fault his workmanship in any way ,my floor is finished to a very high standard paul was polite , easy to get along with , I was comfortable with him being in my home and the cost was very reasonable, especially with my NHS discount...thankyou United carpets xx
