I got the car I wanted, at the price I could afford.

I got the car I wanted.....in the end.
People were for the most part helpful on the phone. There were some frustrations, not least because, as a broker, V4B are at the mercy of finance companies, car dealers, delivery companies etc.
My advice to the company would be to improve communications between Car dealers, financial providers etc. In that way their staff and customers would get a smoother transaction.
I would recommend V4B, as I got a good deal (for my small pensioners budget!) but just make sure you build in a bit of extra time for the car you want. V4B dont deliver cars, dealers do, so just be patient.

Excellent service from start to finish

Excellent service from start to finish. Delivery had to be cancelled due to an issue at Vauxhalls end but we were kept updated and it was only delayed by 3 days in the end. The delivery guy was spot on. It's the first time we've leased but it's so mich cheaper. Will 100% use this company again

Mixed feelings

I’ve leased a few cars now and leasing through V4B has definitely taken the most amount of time. Unfortunately been messed around a bit and quite a few errors made which has been frustrating. Car has arrived and we’re happy with it but it was very dirty and to be honest the process could’ve been better. That being said, everyone we’ve spoken to has been nice.

Excellent customer support from start to finish. Always available by phone or email (during office hours). Vehicle even arrived earlier than estimated, which suited me.

V4B immediately reached out after my initial enquiry, were knowledgeable about the car that I wanted and were very patient when I was deciding on the last details. They immediately jumped into action when I let them know of my holiday plans and got me my car sooner than I thought possible.

Avoid at all costs

So it all started Mid may when my current lease was due to end July 18th and my current provider Select informed me that the car I had ordered which was the Ariya had been put back to February.This was no use to me so they refunded the processing fee and I looked elsewhere as they had no stock that I was interested in.Having found an ionic 6 on V4Bs website I phoned up and enquired.I was told delivery on or around July 22 in leasing a few weeks here or there is normal.So Dave Davies sent me all the forms to fill out(normally the lease company goes through this on the phone) but I had to do everything.On Thursday 27 June I received a phone call saying the car had been put back to at least November.This again was no use whatsoever so Dave had a look for cars but nothing was what I wanted or even close.So I emailed V4B to cancel which took 5 days to respond and a phonecall which was placed Monday morning which they didn't return Elly or Ellie I believe.The response was that they don't refund the processing fee even though they cannot provide the goods they offered and that delivery is only an estimate.Firstly I wouldn't have ordered the car if July 22nd was not set by V4B and 4 months delay without even a delivery date anyway is not an estimate.Im now currently sending documents to the financial ombudsman as it's disgusting to think that anybody on their sales team can promise goods even if they don't have them just to get commission which in effect it is.I hope people read and take note of this review as delays are common and if you need a car then more often than not you may need to cancel.

As a broker working with dealerships, the delays in your vehicle delivery have been entirely out of our control, and we regret any inconvenience caused. When requesting updates regarding your car, we experienced delays in responses from the dealership. When we finally received information, it indicated completion in August, with subsequent processes potentially delaying delivery to the dealer until the end of November. We understand your dissatisfaction when the dealership could not provide further explanation beyond what was already communicated.
Dave did make efforts to find alternative vehicles that might have suited your needs, but unfortunately, none were available that matched your requirements. We always strive to be transparent and upfront with our customers about delivery timelines, though unfortunately, in the current market conditions, unexpected delays can occur.
While we understand your frustration, we would like to clarify that we do not make false promises regarding vehicle availability or delivery dates. We have a track record of serving hundreds of satisfied customers, and it deeply concerns us that your expectations were not met on this occasion.
We regret that we couldn't fulfill your vehicle needs this time and appreciate your feedback, which helps us improve our service. Should you have any further concerns or if there's anything else we can assist you with, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

New car

Thank you Matthew and the team, for sorting my new lease car, which is fantastic!

My only one negative, is the lack of information on the delivery date as the date stated loomed, I had to email several times and was told the same thing each time the the dealership had no up dated information.

Eventually after the original delivery date delivery date had passed and another was offered but then cancelled, I did get my ca bight and early on the 3rd attempt.

Misled from the outset in relation to "in stock" car

I ordered an "in stock" car because I needed it sooner rather later and chose V4B because they had the colour and car I wanted. I was told there were 3 available and I needed to submit paperwork promptly to avoid missing out. The paperwork was submitted that same day (16th April) and at no time was I advised I had "lost" the car. I was given a provisional date of 10th May and arranged to sell my existing car. I checked how things were going with V4B and was told I wouldn't be getting the car on 10th May and they didn't know when it would be available. I was told about issues at the port and problems with paperwork etc. I was given another date of 20th May but this was merely plucking a date out of the air. I chased for an update and was told the car should be arriving in the UK shortly! The car eventually arrived with me on 4th June. I feel I was misled from the outset in relation to the availability of the car and had to continually chase for updates. Thankfully, I didn't release my car prior to 10th May

We are sorry to hear about your experience. Upon reviewing your account, I can see you did miss out on your preferred coloured car as a customer was approved for finance before you and these cars were sold on a first come first served basis. You were offered another colour and accepted the alternative.
Regarding delivery, we were unaware of the unforeseen delays on these cars. I can confirm that these vehicles were built, in stock at the UK port and ready to go, but due to a severe lack of drivers to get them to the dealer, deliveries were delayed. Without this unforeseen delay, the car would have been with you in 2-3 weeks as we advised.
I can see notes from 2 of our customer support team to say you were unhappy about this and we understood and did apologise. Sometimes these things are out of our hands and although it's frustrating all we can do is book delivery as soon as it is available.
Again , apologies for your delay and we are happy that you did receive your car although it was 3 weeks later than planned. We understand this situation was as frustrating for you as it was for us. We have been in business for over 30 years for a reason and we always strive to deliver the best service to our customers. We apologise that your experience wasn’t the best. However, we hope now that the car is delivered, you are happy with it. If you need anything else, don’t hesitate to get in touch; we will be happy to help.
