Disgraceful

Absolutely, positively horrible. Held up my money for over 6 month sending me in circles. After what feels like hundreds of hours on the phone, still no solution. I feel like I'm going to lose the money they are holding hostage. Worst customer service.

Absolutely AWFUL!

I've been dealing with this company for a long time, probably decade. I submit claims and the vast majority are denied. They don't tell you why and the website is useless. My HR and Benefits people at work have to CONSTANTLY contact them and even they can't fix things for me. I spend a lot of useless hours submitting things that get denied....I mean...It MY MONEY! I go to a dentist and what on earth can I buy there that wouldn't be covered???????????? I'm seriously considering not using this next year, it's not worth the hassle and aggravation.

Corruption to the Core:Refuse to Pay or Reimburse

Their process is to deny everything at least 2 times in hope that you give up and end the benefit year with a lot of unused dollars. Copays can require a bill/invoice with everything broken down, a receipt, an Explanation of Benefits and still be turned down. After an hour long chat via their “non-AI” customer service (it is still AI or pre-written answers) or a two hour long phone call overseas to people who have no clue what is happening, you might on your fourth chance get it approved BECAUSE it’s now recorded that their actions are illegal. I’ve also had providers “accidentally” double charge me, and they will not help. The company works to ensure stealing money on behalf of providers and denying reimbursements or payments for customers. Beyond corrupt and useless. I don’t know that the tax benefit is worth the sanity cost to submit the simplest things. And alternative care (fascia massage, lymphatic drainage, vitamins) for Chronic illness? Forget it. You can have the detailed primary doctor note, specialist paperwork they require, invoice, payment receipt, signed affidavit and they won’t even consider it. CORRUPT company stealing from workers. If this is your FSA, forget it. The stress you have trying to submit isn’t worth it. They are in the business to steal your money and keep it in whatever way possible.

So utterly frustrating!

Unfortunately, I have had to use this company for 4 years now. The constantly ask for receipts for payments on things that are CLEARLY medically related and OBVIOUSLY would be approved. I have had to submit multiple receipts for surgeries at hospitals! Horrible company to work with and I think I am just going to stop purchasing a HSA because of it. The savings isn't worth the hassle with this company.

Horrible start so far

Horrible start so far. Went to purchase a pair of glasses go to activate the card and gentlemen on the phone said you’re good to go card got declined call back said not only did it get declined but it’s all locked out now assured me that by the following morning, a team was in that was gonna unlock the card and everything will be well. Spent about an hour on the phone the following morning just to find out that not only is the card lock now but it’s locked because the purchase was declined meanwhile, the code that was used was the correct code so she had no explanation of why it got declined and now it will take up to two weeks to unlock the card because there’s a investigation on an open claim. Time or they can pull me up with that I give them it really is shocking to believe that this is a multimillion dollar company. It feels like a mom and pop shop.

I have repeatedly submitted the required documentation to get reimbursed for Medicare premiums yet they constantly deny payment. their reason are always idiotic. just one example, they said they had never received my claim yet their site shows my request was denied. how can a claim be denied if it was never received? maybe they were born this stupid or maybe they excel at denying legit claims. just resubmit, resubmit and resubmit when dealing with these losers. I also filed a complaint with the CA State insurance board

These people are the worst

These people are the worst. They gave me a card that only works a third of the time. I try to get them to fix it and they straight up said they can but won't. I really don't understand how companies like this are allowed to exist.

Predatory Incompetent Vultures that feast on desperate people

I truly wish I never have to deal with this company again. Most people are forced to work with Wage Works at the worst times of their lives. Wage works makes this already demoralizing time in our lives exponentially worse. I truly feel like I was getting scammed. They are predatory in the way they ask for payment, yet purposely take at least a few weeks before your insurance becomes active. I had paid 1 & a half months worth of Cobra in the middle of August to start my coverage. By that time, I had already paid around $2,000 out of pocket for my prescription and medical expenses since I was cut off insurance within the same day I was let go from my company. I had paid another $900 to elect Cobra for these 1 and half months.

I urgently needed to fill my prescriptions before the end of the month and had pulled out all of the stops to make sure I didn't have to pay more out of pocket. As you can guess, Wage works had dropped the ball when I needed them the most. Although I had paid the premium in the middle of August, my insurance is finally active today on the 3rd of September. I had to chose between rent and medication, because I had already forked over so much money for my out of pocket and Cobra. In those 2 weeks from my first payment, I had to call my insurance provider as well as wage works 24/7 to see what was going on. If it weren't for the persistence of my insurance provider BCBSIL, I would probably still be waiting. Wage Works had made a mistake and sent my approval to the wrong insurance carrier. We could not even find that out until after 5+ joint calls with BCBSIL and wage works. Wage works really did all they could to avoid giving out any details BCBSIL was looking for in order to get my insurance going. And once we spotted the issue, Wage Works said that they would submit a ticket and could take another 3-5 business days to resolve the issue......THEY MADE THE MISTAKE, why are you taking your time and being difficult to work with after you already took my money and have yet to provide me with coverage?

The worst part is yet to come. I could not stand the fact that they could not take any credibility and kept pushing me towards reimbursement. I am already out 3 grand and am unemployed, is this a sick joke?

Which brings me to today, the 3rd of September. After weeks of 24/7 calls with my insurance, I was finally able to make sure my insurance is active. I finally try to process my prescriptions that I have held off on filling for weeks due to the incompetence of Wage Works. Then I get a call from a Wage Works representative. They start off by saying their initial mistake was actually correct, which I immediately responded with : "Do not touch a single thing! I just got this to work, please stop. You are driving me up a wall." They agreed to my demand. Then, they followed up by saying since this is a new month, we need you to pay for this month in order to fill your prescriptions. WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS? My insurance is FINALLY ACTIVE after weeks of paying you money, paying out of pocket, trouble shooting my insurance (which is YOUR JOB), and going weeks without my prescriptions, yet I still need to pay you for coverage I have never had? I lost it. I have given up. I hate this company with every fiber of my being. They are egregiously predatory and incompetent. At this point, I am convinced you are just a scam organization who regularly practices these unethical business processes. Throw the whole company in the trash. You are terrible for society and should not be working with people that are already struggling. I am looking into a way to take legal action. I had to forgo applying to jobs, because I had to fix YOUR mistake, and the first thing you can ask is for payment.

I too would give zero if possible

I too would give zero if possible. I have had nothing but negative experience including withdrawing money from my account without consent. Do not allow this group access to your account. I am still trying to get the money they took with constant canned responses. I am now speaking to my attorney. It is a shame that you cannot trust a firm to do the right thing.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company has got to be the worst HSA administrator on the face of the earth. No one knows what they are doing and it has caused too many errors. They don't know what a co-pay is vs. what your insurance company pays on your behalf. They send out duplicate payments on the same EOB. What the actual. God please help them!

Customer service and claim denial information is criminal

The descriptions for their claim denials are always templates, and they do not provide specific information for how to correctly submit receipts/documentation for claims. You get left to figure it out yourself through multiple claim submissions, hoping that your new attempt has the correct info they are looking for. Absolutely garbage customer service.

Absolutely the worst company out there

Absolutely the worst company out there. Last year when I did not receive my monthly MetroCards I lost out the money. WageWorks made every attempt to not reimburse me.
This month they cut off my monthly commuter cards without any warning because I hit half my limit which makes no sense to anyone except for WageWorks.
Stay far away.

They denied my rx purchase due to…

They denied my rx purchase due to issues with Walmart they have not resolved so I had to file a claim and pay my meds out of pocket then because they didn't get their receipt for another claim fast enough they used my rx claim monies to pay that payment back and now are making me file a claim by mail to get my money back. And they laughed at me about it over the phone. If my company uses then anymore i will not be using them. Also note i didn't want to give them one star but had to so be able to write this.

Can't Login and no one knows why

Suddenly, I am unable to login and pay my account. Error description is totally useless:
We apologize, but we’ve experienced an error.
The error has been logged and will be reviewed by our developers. Please try your request again later.
I created several tickets which are immediately reported by email as "Resolved", but of course I cannot log in.

Unable to log in and pay health insurance during chemo

Continually let them know about the issue. No change since day one. All I want us to pay for health insurance. And it says we apologize, but we've experienced an error and that they're developers have been notified. It's been months. People need them and they are not there. I can't believe they're still making money off the service.

Wageworks is not allowing me to use my…

Wageworks is not allowing me to use my FSA for medical expenses on a post-deductible basis, despite my providing documentation. I spent over an hour with customer services at various levels of 'escalation'. No one could figure it out. Finally, my call was cut off and no one called me back. Absolutely awful processes and service

Constant runaround

-5 stars if I could . Just finished 18 months of cobra with them . What an awful disgusting company this is to get stuck dealing with. Layers and layers of incompetence from the people who initially answer the phone to all the double talkers they escalate your call to . Next time I’d rather take my chances with a shady car dealer…

Worst company ever

Worst company ever! System has been “down” for days and no one can help. They asked to several people and finally someone says I need to order a new card. Ordered the card on a Friday and it wasn’t shipped until almost 10 days later, then I’m told it would be another 10 days until I receive the card. This has been the worst experience ever.

Would give -5 stars if I could!

Spoke with Chartice (supervisor) @ 888-678-4881 and she was rude and unhelpful. I paid my Cobra and it's been deducted from my banking institution (completely deducted, not pending) and they're telling me that it will take 7-10 business days for my insurance to reactivate. Their "standard" process takes 3 biz days to confirm payment then it gets pushed. I'd asked for help to see if they can expedite it and she said that they cannot because they're waiting on confirmation of payment (again, already deducted) from their finance team. I asked for a number to connect with them and she said that there wasn't one. I told her that I really needed my medicine (which is several thousand dollars and I just lost my job, hence the need for Cobra) and she said sorry, its' standard practice for the turn around time and it's in their paperwork. She was RUDE and I hung up on her. No help whatsoever!!!!! I'm desperate and need my medicine and their process is now my problem.
