Really quick process
Really quick process , applied online on Saturday. Freepost envelope and packaging arrived on Tuesday , sent Tuesday afternoon , they received the phone on Wednesday checked it and sent payment which was what they had quoted online by the end of the day .

They promise a price for a broken…
They promise a price for a broken handset then mark down a working one because it has a beta OS and cracked back glass (which was in the criteria for the broken handset price) there is no raising a dispute in this either take it or leave it. They estimate a much higher price than they will ever offer due to the fact I had a working device and I put it in the broken category due to the damage on the back. The apple beta OS doesn’t change the value of the device either.

Would highly recommend we buy tek to anyone…just sold an iPhone 13 that was smashed on the back but they still gave me what they offered before I sent the phone to them which was more than double what any other company was offering! Avoid. Misleading
I used their valuation tool and selected the lowest condition (“faulty”) just to be safe, even though the phone worked perfectly, and had scratches that did not affect screen viewing. They offered £250 online, but after receiving it, dropped it to £150. Misleading—avoid.

Waste of my time. I accepted a quote for a broken (worst option available) iPhone 11, only for them to try and knock me down because it was broken when they assessed it.

Reported problems that didn't exist but was trapped by return costs
Phone was in great cosmetic condition but had low battery of 61%. I selected the faulty condition to cover for this. I sent the phone in the We Tek supplied packaging. On checking the phone suddenly there were issues that just didn't exist such as cracked camera lens, LCD-Screen Discolouration which categorically are not true. Even if they were true, I selected faulty as the sales condition. Stupidly I forgot to take a picture of the phone before sending so can't dispute this and the cost to decline and return was £10, so I just had to accept the offer for £20 less for some issues that didn't exist when I sent the phone. I felt trapped, especially with the cost to return. Very disappointed and will not use them again. Don't trust them.

Fantastic service. Greta price honoured and paid upon inspection. Unlike other buyers of phones there was no price chips after viewing the phone. Very pleased.
They sent me packaging to put phone in and I returned it on Thursday. Money in our account the next day lunch time. Outstanding and highly recommended

Original price considerably reduced
I was given an offer of £57 by We Buy Tek through a comparison website for a broken phone. My phone met the definition of a broken phone, and that was the most damaged that could be recorded. It was easy to return the phone. I then had an email offering £11.40 because the phone didn't switch on - only when I challenged did I then get an offer of £26 when they charged the phone. The amount I received was then £11.40 despite accepting the new offer on the link. I have complained and I am quite sure that they will redress this, but it isn't very good.
