I visited WRCC some months before purchasing a Minor from them and came away with the impression that they would be a good company to deal with. I was wrong.

A few months later l purchased a Minor saloon, remotely, as l am 255 miles away from WRCC. It was described as a "3 owner car", and as "a belter". I took them at their word.
When the log book arrived the "3 owner car" turned out to be a 9 owner car, and was delivered in the following condition......

Horn not working
Indicators not working
Massive coolant leak from day one
Fuel gauge not working
Headlights vastly out of alignment
Brakes binding
Unbearably loud noises from worn front and rear wheel bearings
Car did not sit level....driver's side 1.5 inches lower than passenger side
No sign of recently applied underbody coating "as per WRCC protocol "

This was a premium priced vehicle, supplied "fully serviced ", and with A NO ADVISORIES MOT .
Some of the above faults were rectified at my own considerable expense. (WRCC contributed a couple of pats under guarantee at a cost of around £35).

About a year later l asked WRCC if they would buy the car back. Inexplicably l was met with a very offhand and rude response. They showed no interest in buying it back despite their adverts for purchasing Minors......"fair prices paid - distance no object ".

With hindsight l should have bypassed WRCC and bought a decent Minor from a private sale - there are plenty of them about. I would have got a better car and saved a great deal of money, a few thousand pounds in the process.
WRCC - A disappointing, unpleasant and costly experience. AVOID.

I bought a lovely Morris called Susie from West Riding Classics earlier in the year, and all was great. Dan was very friendly, and was more than happy to help and advise me when I told him this was to be my first Moggy, and how I was intending to use it etc. Dan helped with some advice on upgrades and modifications to help me get the most from it.
My son is planning on getting one as soon as he passes his test, so we'll likely go back to chat again with Dan to see what he has in stock!

Just bought 1971 traveller from Dan and his team. All very knowledgeable and fitted a few upgrades for me. Been back in touch with Dan a few times since I bought the car, only to enquire about spares etc if and when I need them. Great experience and really happy with my car.

Beware when buying a Morris Minor from this used car dealer.
They boast that "all cars are full serviced before leaving, as well as the underside recoated in your choice of protection". This was not true in my case.
I paid to have a 2-door saloon delivered 250 miles to my home. When it arrived it had the following faults:

The 3M underbody coating had not been applied.
The full service had not been completed.
The battery was flat.
The horn was not working.
The fuel gauge was not working.
The water pump was leaking.
There was no sign of antifreeze.
There was an oil leak.
The radio aerial was loose.
The large fresh air hose was disconnected.
The starter motor was jamming/sticking
Spots on the roof lining had not been cleaned.
The drivers carpet was in the boot.
There was masking tape on the sill carpet.

I was not happy with the car so I sold it back at a loss to me of £5,000

If you are considering buying a car from this dealer I suggest you proceed with great caution, perhaps withhold a sum of money until you are satisfied that everything is as they promise it will be.
